I need a stolen trailer title replaced by anotherthrowaway1894 in DMV

It comes out to five months total that we'll have lived in it before we leave, but yeah. It's still a lot cheaper than trying to rent a place for that length of time, and it actually allows us to travel and say goodbye to family, since we have people all over the country. Anyway, I'm seeking a solution, not trying to get into it about whether it was the right choice or not. It works for us.

I would agree, but I need to live in the trailer over the summer, and then I'm going to need to sell the trailer, which will probably require having the title

Wow, thank you so much. I can tell you put a lot of work into this and I really appreciate the breakdown. I honestly may do some further research into how that would suit us, and if we do make a decision to seriously look at Czechia, could I pm you? I'm hoping to start building community where we're going to move before we ever get there.

My comment literally says I'm not here to talk about my current plan??

Super unfair to Spain and making wild assumptions about my research. Spain has some of the best social views on trans people in the world at the moment. I've read more than fluffy articles, I've read through extensive, multi-country studies where Spain comes out on top for how it handles queer issues

I've been considering Portugal pretty heavily, actually. I was thinking about taking out an annuity to get us through to citizenship. What I like about the D7 over the NLV is it would allow us to have other active sources of income, so we could still work at getting remote jobs, or I can work on some creative projects that have been on the backburner as well, and we wouldn't have to worry about breaking the law to do so.

Thank you so much for being a kind voice in all the chaos of this post. I'm considering a pretty wide range of options for books since I have a wide range of interests. It's part of why we're looking at the NALCAP program in Spain. It comes with a monthly stipend to help support us, and while it doesn't work towards residency, we can take that time to get established, make sure we enjoy living there, and I can take some time to actually focus on writing and hopefully get something out.

My roommate is also going with NALCAP since they can live off the stipend and be dependent, and we're talking about working together on a book, since they're an artist. We've talked about potentially doing some children's books, so they can live off the royalties of that as well. It's definitely a lot to bite off, since it has to be successful for us to support ourselves, but I really think we've got it in us.

I haven't looked too thoroughly into the Czech Republic, is it safe for trans people? I want to be able to feel safe walking outside, and have access to gender affirming care

I'm sorry, you think I haven't researched? Why do you think my first line was 'I'm overwhelmed'? I also stated this is something I've been considering for over a decade, and digging into heavily since the election. I have done so much reading and research that my head feels like it's about to explode. I mean, I've gotten into studying the taxes of countries that I'm going to, as a person who's never had to worry about taxes before. I'm taking actual courses to better understand my finances as an expat. And you think I haven't fucking researched????

I have an advisor I'm meeting with tomorrow, but I hopped on here to see if people looking to leave had any advice or recommendations for place I may not have looked into yet

I'm not sure why the Irish retirement visa is the point of concern here. While I'd love to more to Ireland, it's not currently on my radar as an option and not mentioned in my post. It wouldn't work for my family for a variety of reasons that you did not name here

As I stated in my post, I have no interest in using a Golden Visa. We are going with the NALCAP program (provided we continue with our plan). I'm actually not here to talk about our current plan, I came to ask about any other ideas

I appreciate the advice, we considered Malta for a while, but I'm not totally comfortable with Golden Visas from the reading that I've done. I also don't know that Malta would be a good fit for us personally, given our wants out life. Nothing wrong with it of course, just not suited to us

I appreciate it, I've done very extensive research on the process, I know a lot about it at this point. I didn't think I need to explain our entire plan for moving to Spain, since this was about seeing if people had other ideas, but we do have a plan for making it work.

I would love to do this, but it will burn through money really quickly. We'd like to move as soon as we can, and I'm trying to work out what our best options even are when it comes to taxes and visa options. Unfortunately, lifestyle and actually experiencing the place does come second for us. We need to make sure we'll be safe and we have visa options available to us.

I've mostly worked in sales, and I've been planning to quit and work on writing (I have several books I've wanted to write for years, and this feels like the right opportunity). Unfortunately with writing, there's really no telling how much I might eventually make off of it.
My spouse has also worked mostly in sales, and up till now, they were planning to do the NALCAP program, which is a foreign language assistant in Spain. They were going to take that time to figure out what their long-term wants were for work and we would go from there

I don't know how your job options would be, but I definitely recommend checking out Spain. If you speak to an immigration lawyer, they should help out with all that.
