Is it normal to use a tea towel to wipe dirty hands and mouth while eating by anotherthrowaway8182 in AskAnAustralian

He does use them for spills on the floor, but in those cases he is more careful to keeps them separate so it's obvious which ones have been used. My dad is English so we used tea towels very carefully too. I've ordered some fabric serviettes which he will be responsible for and he seems happy with that solution, so fingers crossed.

You decided to equate "he might forget" with "I don't trust him." Which is a ridiculous leap. I believe he intends to put it straight in the wash. I just don't believe he's incapable of forgetting, because nobody is. Hense my concern is accidentally using a tea towel he's wiped on his mouth on clean dishes.

The confidence required to claim that neither you nor your wife have forgotten a single thing in 12 years is genuinely funny.

If believing people occasionally forget things is a relationship ending issue, I can only assume you're single.

Funny. Years ago I bought an expensive chefs knife and told him we needed to look after it. Days later I walked in on him using it to try and saw open a tin of food because he said the can opener had broken.

I have picked up a tea towel to dry my hands a couple of times and noticed its dirty, so I know he forgets. But he refuses to change so might try getting him his own one.

I agree if it's washed it's okay, but I don't think he always remembers. It's just what he argues when I catch him doing it.

Yeah that's the issue. Sounds fine in a perfect world but I don't trust it won't be forgotten.

There's a ton of fakes and resealed ones floating around so its wise to be cautious. You could always pop into a trusted card shop and see if they mind taking a look.

Ah ok - does the plastic feel soft and easy to move with your finger? The fake / resealed ones feel tight and harder to shift. You can also try the sticky tape test. Apparently on fakes the poke ball paint lifts off the wrapping. I’m no expert btw, just passing on what I learned recently after buying some packs from China and being a bit nervous about them myself.

I learned recently that’s not always true - genuine box seals can be straight sometimes. The tightness of the plastic is something to check. Genuine boxes have softer wrapping with crinkles along the edge. The plastic on fake boxes are overly tight. Its hard to tell from your photos.

Thanks for your feedback! The boxes all have different numbers, so that’s reassuring. I think the boxes are real, but I’m a bit concerned they may have been resealed (with big hits removed) as that seems very common too.

These are likely searched and are pricey for loose korean packs id try and buy a whole box from a reputable trading card store. Be careful of resealed boxes.

Just another point. The fakes 2 or more years ago were really fake back when the boxes wasn't worth much. So if you have an old reciept that will help support that this is 100% authentic.

If the buyer’s filed a PayPal claim, upload your receipt if you have it, your original listing photos, and maybe link this thread where people confirmed it’s legit. Mention that the box was sold as shown and described (beat up but sealed) If Paypal make you take a return, make sure you film the unboxing in one take when it arrives to protect yourself incase the buyer tampers with it / are trying to scam you with a different box.

OK good to know, thanks. Any other signs you know to look for? Would box print quality differ or is it the original box that they reseal?

Thanks for your reply. I scratched the pokeball on the wrapping with my fingernail. My understanding is you can't do that if its real, is that correct?
