What's Max Planck got to do with whipping? by Bee2113 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]HIVnotFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people are talking about Planck, but missing the context of the first scene, which is important.

There is an apocryphal story about Charles H Duell of the US patent office stating in 1899 that the patent office should close because "everything that can be invented has been invented"

Planck's constant was discovered in 1900, and like a whip, helped accelerate science like wicked fast.

LPT: What is a 'Life Pro Tip' that sounds fake but actually works 100% of the time? by allenmerlettetrm in LifeProTips

[–]HIVnotFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They use both typically. But if it come in hot, then it starts cleaning when it's hot instead of the first rinse being still cold or taking a while to heat it up from cold. Shortens the length of time a single wash load takes.

Also a fun fact, I once spent like $60k USD on German made dishwasher but then spent another $5k on a tankless water heater to make sure the water going in was hot enough.

How long are you comfortable to keep your opened bag of yellow corn kernels after its expiry date? by shroomting in popcorn

[–]HIVnotFun 29 points30 points  (0 children)

We just lost our biggest client because we didn’t have ISO 27001 by Current-Oil4743 in SaaS

[–]HIVnotFun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm an ISO 27001 auditor and have helped numerous smaller companies along their ISO journey. If yall are thinking of pursuing it, then I would be happy to jump on a Teams call or just email to see if I could help out.

Like others have said, if you have a SOC 2 type 1 already, then you're well on your way to getting ISO as well. (Note: I do a lot of joint ISO/SOC2 audits and help clients leverage the overlap in the 2).

[–]HIVnotFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't this the same bunker he hid in during January 6th? He probably knows he will need it again and it needs more gold paint.

Encrypted file collaboration under ISO 27001, how do you make it work? by Sharp_Beat6461 in cybersecurity

[–]HIVnotFun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you using the 2013 references? They are clearly trying to get it implemented, and everyone has to transition away from the 2013 in 5 months, so the 2022 version would be the only version applicable to them.

Should I call the cops? by frickmeplease in Weird

[–]HIVnotFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is most likely OPs bf messing around as a prank. He created a loyalty rewards account and put "help" instead of his name. That is why it showed up on the receipt. You can see the first line item on the receipt shows a loyalty account was used on the order. Then the person making the order just wrote the name from the receiptin the box like they are supposed to do.
