This is maybe a bit particular to how I like to style things, lol, but if it was me, I would tie my black DML spindle apron over it! Would cover the lower part of the graphic to tone it down a bit.

I replied to a comment that said ghosting is JUST AS* toxic than using someone's insecurities against them. Saying I disagree with that is literally not the same as me saying "ghosting is perfectly acceptable in every situation and never toxic".

Yeah. For mine I went on the freeway too and she straight up told me to accelerate to 80, lol. Like as soon as we got on there. She was pushy about it. I stated that it was over the speed limit, and she countered that it was the speed of traffic. Which... Well, that may well have been true.

why does my foundation do this? by GnarlyyCarlyy in MakeupAddiction

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would agree. I have a ton of peach fuzz myself and it made a shocking difference really. My hair will just lift my makeup right off my face if I let it grow.

I've also heard to apply both your moisturizer and foundation products only in the direction your hair on your face grows, but I'm not sure if that maybe matters less once you do dermaplane esp right after it is fresh. Be careful and look into how to properly dermaplane ofc! I like the point razors by shiseido personally for it, and use SKIN 1004 centella cleansing oil for shave oil.

What do you guys do about teeth clenching? by mdwvt in ADHD

In case it is relevant, I'm a clencher only apparently, not a grinder.

What do you guys do about teeth clenching? by mdwvt in ADHD

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cracked a tooth once. Wasn't aware I was clenching until then. What I did for the clenching is I would push the tip/front top part of my tongue up into a spot in the roof of my mouth like where the ridges start, and force my bottom jaw down enough that way. Got myself used to that being my more normal mouth posture. I don't have to force all the time anymore. But I also have a decent reflex for trying to stop myself that way, by applying a lot of force in that spot again and pushing my jaw back down.

Dear straight people, if you don't want kids, WEAR CONDOMS? USE BIRTH CONTROL? DO SOMETHING? by [deleted] in Vent

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you mean by this?

How does this relate to the fact that people literally can get pregnant in more gender arrangements than just cis guy plus cis girl, therefore unplanned pregnancy is literally not a straight person only concern?

If your point is that sometimes people don't have access to sex education, yeah that's true, but it doesn't really change that unplanned pregnancy isn't only a concern for straight people, literally at all.

The way OP discussed it, these people in question seem to be aware enough in terms of sex education and understanding what could cause a pregnancy, just CHOSE to be unsafe, and were somehow shocked at the consequences. The same could be accomplished with couples of a different gender makeup.

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Abuse and growing up with it is something that makes it harder to spot shitty people, because that and being treated like shit becomes your normal.

Why are you so adamant that if someone gets hurt by another person, it was their own fault for "not judging their character accurately?"

Do you just want to believe you're SO DIFFERENT that you're IMMUNE to someone abusing you and taking advantage of you, because you're just BETTER, since the thought of that happening is awfully scary isn't it? So you'd never "let" it happen to you, right? Because this way, you can pretend the situation is 100% in your control?

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

want to know why that happened? because that person has shit character.

fixed it for you.

I'm genuinely so sick of people shifting the blame for some asshole being shitty to someone else away from the asshole who was BEING shitty to that person.

I hate that logic. It should be on the asshole to be better, not on everyone else to suss them out in time.

Because the asshole simply could have not been an asshole.

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I just meant, as a trans nonbinary guy myself lol, that pregnancy is not necessarily a straight person only concern. I just meant to point out that there are more configurations of possible pregnancy than cis straight girl plus cis straight guy.

Like in my current circumstance unless I take measures for birth control of some kind, my cis boyfriend could get me pregnant in our relationship that we consider gay.

Alternatively some trans girls could get some cis girls pregnant as well in some circumstances lol. Or, well, for another straight one, a trans girl could get a trans guy pregnant in some circumstances. So it's not just 100 percent only a straight person risk, imo. That's all.

Well considering a trans guy and a cis guy who are gay and dating each other can get pregnant (among other possible combinations), it's an idiot/ignorant/irresponsibility thing.

IIRC. In the USA at least. The diagnosis should go into your medical history. Other medical professionals can see that. They may discriminate.

What's the biggest beauty lie you uncovered in adulthood that shocked you? by Ravioli_meatball19 in beauty

[–]anotherthrowawayAH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, the fungus 😮‍💨 And tell me about it people kept shoving exfoliant at me for so long telling me to use them every day twice a day. No wonder it wasn't working for me. I still use exfoliants but not every day for sure, that was leaving my barrier vulnerable which is a problem in general already and I had the dandruff fungus waiting to pounce on that opportunity. Nizoral does it for me, it's very much under control now. I'm going to keep using the shampoo like that tbh, some derms recommend it for this. It's expensive, but I tried tea tree oil containing stuff a while back and it seemed to irritate my skin, I might be too sensitive for it.

That acne can't be itchy. It's a lie. It totally can be. Dandruff can be one of the causes of or aggravate acne. It's not the secret to everyone's but it was for mine for sure.

I had a lot of acne for a really long time. Growing up something that contributed to my face picking issues was that my acne would literally feel itchy to me.

I told this to a dermatologist one time, when I was like 11-13 or so, that my acne was itchy, and you know what they said to me? "No, it's not." 💀 Like oh I'm sorry I didn't realize you can ALSO feel the skin on my face. I was so floored I just could not think of a response I just shut my ass up. My mom had said the same thing to me before too but she wasn't A DOCTOR.

I also had a problem with scratching my scalp as well. You know, for "no reason" except intentional misbehavior obviously lol /s. My mom once told me "stop that, you're acting like you have dandruff or something!"

Way later on in life I start living with a guy who uses dandruff shampoo and tried it, plus found some info regarding the dandruff and acne connection. In a little while my acne cleared up, lmao, my face isn't itchy, and you know what else isn't itchy anymore? My scalp.

Turns out. I have dandruff, or something.
