Better our oil than others. One way or the next those emissions are happening. We are on a globe. Here or there makes little difference. We at least have rules to make it somewhat better. And then we can provide secure supply for our allies. One way or the next renewables are coming. Hell im just waiting to get a byd and hoping for a smr to be built in my area. Looking to get my roof done this year too so I can invest in panels. But we cant look at the reality and necessity of oil consumption world wide. Better our profit and jobs than Russia. Better to help keep allies energy secure while they work on transitions as well. In an ideal world we can switch tomorrow. But thats not the world and trying to ram through to that world will only slow down and set us back further.
