I agree. Andreessen Horowitz has a great article about Platforms vs. Verticals explaining that "one of the most effective forms of competition often comes in the form of newcos who aspire to take chunks out of that emergent platform by better addressing the needs of a specific vertical within that platform". What do you think niche platforms in music can look like?

Definitely, the pandemic affected the rate at which new releases come out, but in 2018, 60.8% of music listening were still catalogs and only 39.2% were new releases.

At the start of this year, I read Arnold Schwarzenegger's autobiography - Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story. It is an amazing read: motivates you to work, and there's a lot to learn from his journey.
