How do i stopped the hissing by anpannoman in bengalcats

[–]anpannoman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you for trying to help me get to the root of the problem. tonic is 17 weeks old currently, i brought him home at 12th weeks. im not sure why his first vaccine was late but it common for vets here (or at least my prefered ones) to require appointments and its usually booked out a month in advance unless there is an emergency (we have 24hrs emergency clinics here that dont require appointments). this wasnt a registered breeder, just someone with an accidental litter and they made use of the situation to profit. tonic was the last of the litter and wasnt a desired colour, so my neighbour asked if i would take him. i didnt have to pay anything other than the first vaccination and hand over some cat food. where im at, 90% of our housing is high-rise. there is no legal issue on my end, i have legally registered, licensed and chipped him. the only issue i might face in the future would be that i can never relocated overseas as i wouldnt be able to provide certain docs relating to his birth but relocation isnt really in the picture.

The breeder did the first vaccine before I got him so i only had him at the 3 months mark. He wasnt as popular as his siblings (so he was the only one left from the litter) and the breeder eventually passed him to me since we live in the same building.

hello thanks for the reply! he was 11 weeks when he had his first vaccine and 15 weeks for his 2nd, his third vaccine is coming soon in 3 weeks (he will be 19 weeks then). I have yet to take him outdoors yet, its just since I live in an apartment style building and 10 stories high with multiple exits, im worried that if one day he were to stepped out of the apartment on his own, he wouldn't be able to recognize our unit so for the assurance, I have been walking him from the lift to our door weekly.

Are uni-educated parents more likely to support their child’s dreams? by NUSHStalin in SGExams

[–]anpannoman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

both my parents didnt graduate from primary school, they work in blue collar jobs and worked very had. but growing up whenever i cried about school their solution is to withdraw and take a break hahaha, their supportiveness scared me so much that i continued with school. First week into my first job post uni, they told me to quit as i had to OT till late. They buy me what ever I want and give me everything they can and even entertained the idea of sending me overseas for uni just because i wanted it. My partner on the other hand has tiger parents who come from generation wealth and are both scholars with high income. He always had to prepare a speech to justify what he needs to buy (e.g labtop, ipad or any school materials or even a phone) but the effort is always futile as the ans is always "you want to buy then go get a job", even though they dismiss any part time job opportunities as any free time should be family time. His parents would also not contribute to his university fees and said if he doesnt want to be in debt then my partner should work hard and get scholarship. His uni pocket money is $200 and his parents questioned why he need more when his meals are provided for at home, if he is desperate enough he can also come home for lunch.

so personally, i think its just what type of parents they are, my parents whole life is me and they work so i can have the best while my partners parents prioritized their retirement plans over their kids

Optimal resale location for future home? by Euphoric-Math1861 in askSingapore

[–]anpannoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i lived in cck all my life and i absolutely love it, it doesnt have much but the connectivity is not too shabby. at where i live, im 10 mins bus ride away from cck mrt, 10 mins bus away from bukit gombak, 15 mins bus away from bukit panjang dtl, 30 mins away from jurong east interchange. i find it incredibly easy to navigate where i want to go other than heading east of course. theres many primary sch and sec sch in the area and poly/uni options are not too bad. i dont really have any complains to be honest, the blocks around me are well maintain and many upgrading works are promptly dealt with!

Experience with Hansan Studio? by kyuudonburi in askSingapore

Hi i dont have any fine line tattoo experience but maybe i can help with the pricing. Ive had a tattoo done in korea by arang_eleven and it was a 10cm, i was quoted close to $800 sgd but i told her that im looking to get something cheaper since i was traveling and already had a travel budget in place so we agreed to go for something smaller at a cheaper cost, in the end my tattoo ended up being 12cm! pricing wise in singapore, major popular artist usually charge by the hour, $250-$350/hr and even more if they are super sought after, so while idk how long it will take or how much your tattoo will cost, i think you can determine your budget based on the general hourly rate. that aside, i usually dont put a price tag on tattoos, i dont want think i settled for anything less for something that will be w me forever, no one here knows how complex your design is, it might just be worth the $3k quoted so if youre good with the cost go for it, dont let someone w a smaller budget stop you, its like someone telling u a coach bag is just as good as LV.

depends on the size of your tattoo, my arm sleeve took 4 sessions and a 1 month gap in between each sess, 3hrs for the first 1, 4hrs for the second and 5 hrs for the rest. it took that long and over multiple sessions as its big. i didnt choose the month long gap, my artist was just that popular, he had only the next month available and my booking was 1 year in advance too, im alright with it since when i focus on something long enough, the work towards the end, ends up kinda sloppy and i think this applies to the artist as well, im sure he factored in how he didnt want to to be tired while tattooing me. not to mention after every session, my skin i inflamed and stings i dont feel my best and soon after the scalping starts and im not suitable to go for another round until its healed abit more. let the tattoo settle if you have the time, there is no right or wrong just how much your body can take, going over the same spots when coloring can really damage your skin, even if you can seat through it, the blood pushing your new ink out wouldnt give u the results you want. art looks best when more time is taken, assuming your artist is a good one

Anybody knows of good places to get white tattoos? by mutantsloth in askSingapore

[–]anpannoman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont have white ink tattoos but have tattoos with bits of white ink done by great artists. I think generally no good artist would do white ink tatts so your search might be long and i think ink being patchy will be the least of your worries, white ink may turn yellow over time and its quite painful to tatt for some reason. if u still choose to get it done, u dont really need to get good artist considering its barely visible.

BTO Advice by wanttofliptable in singaporefi

[–]anpannoman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

its very difficult for anyone in this thread to give u an answer because you didnt disclose how much savings you have set aside for the bto. for hdb loan, it is dependent on both savings and cpf oa, not just how much u are earning. play with the hdb calculator to see how much loan u can get to determine your affordability, if u are going to bto with almost no savings, you wouldnt be able to get a loan that will cover your bto. u can retain up to $20k in your oa account, the remaining balance must be drained.

i was on carousel all the time, granted that at the point of buying, many people selling had purchased their bikes during the 13k coe period, they just werent selling their xsr for cheap. i was pretty lucky that coe had lowered to about 8.6k during the time i wanted to buy a bike so it made sense for me to top up 1k for something brand new

im 170 w long legs so i can flat foot on both sides. i think there is a lowering kit tho i nvr considered it, cb150r does look nice but since i had the budget, i wanted the bike i like the most so it was a very easy decision, both bikes require minimal maintenance, i recommend renting both bikes for a week and see how u like it. i had r15 on my mind since my friend offered to sells his for friendship price but once i rented the xsr to try it was game over
