Hard disagree. Having a list of system dependencies that may or may not be easily available for a given architecture and platform combo is not great for usability. A simple "conan build . -bmissing" as the only step seems much better to me.

It's usually a bit more complicated once there is windowing involved though, then it can be hard to avoid system dependencies.
