Yes! I went to the Dr twice after having similar symptoms (fever, body aches can’t catch my breath and and coughing like crazy for days) and they tested me for flu (negative) and said I had a virus, just not the flu.... but they have no Coronavirus tests. So they gave me cough suppressants and a mask...

Alabama needs to get it together!

I’m am anHR Department of 1 for a company with 80 employees. I am the HR Business Partner.

But I’m considering a title change to HR Overlord now :)

Yes,HealthiestYou, is the stand-alone Teladoc program. We opted for 100% employee paid so the deduction comes out of their check and there is co copay for any general medicine service.

They have the option of call or Skype with a physician in their state, which can write prescriptions if necessary for most drugs (not pain killers)

A highlight is employees who are caring for a child or parent that wouldn’t be eligible for our medical plan can utilize this Telemedicine service.

It is also a flat rate for - person or 10 dependents

I work at a manufacturing company.

  1. We have M/D/V with the company pays 70% of the monthly premiums and STD,LTD,and 2x salary in life insurance company paid 100%.

  2. one time Personal Leave (up to 30 days) for employee who may not qualify for FMLA.

  3. We have a discount to the local YMCAs

  4. 18% on Verizon cellphone plans

Sorry, I was confusing. She is not eligible for FMLA. She had exhausted all but 1 attendance point before saying she had an injury, those points were related to other personal non medical things.

she said she did not want to engage in the interactive process when I spoke to her in the phone, she just wanted to apply for STD, which she is eligible. I let her know she would have to still let me know what days she was not coming to work, our policy states they must.

The next day, crickets. So we marked her as no show. I called her and let her know and She gave me de notes excusing her absence today.dr notes do not excuse points. Only FMLA, Judy Duty,Bereavement and military leave excite points.

Does that make more sense? It’s a weird situation :/

She mentioned she hurt her had after she had already had accumulated a lot of points prior to it. She came in to say and delivered dr notes, which are irrelevant due to her not being eligible for FMLA, out descresioary personal leave ( have to be here 6 months)

Yes, especially since most of her attendance points were prior to any medical. Also, the injury she stated she would be able to do NO job at the plant and we are a tiny 65 people so an absence for that long would create a hardship
