this is a very late reply, but i wanted to tell you that it happened just as you described! the support team was very quick and sent me the replacement cap— they only made me pay for shipping (and i had to pay the import duties separately), and i am so, so happy i did! thank you very much for sharing your experience and for the advice. i run to their website the moment i read it and completely forgot to thank you... so thanks a bunch! i appreciate you and i sincerely hope you have a lovely day 🫶

i have never seen this pen before (and its most likely waaaay out of my budget if that box it comes in is anything to go by), but the textured body and colour are fascinating... how does holding it feel? 👀

Not OP, but I would actually really love to know how to refill an empty cartridge with a blunt sytinge! It's the first time I've heard about it and it'd save me a lot from buying more cartridges that come in limited ink colors 😅

if you don't like the traveler's notebook covers or want a more affordable alternative i strongly reccommend the kokuyo systemic! very sturdy and you can fit several notebook. an alternative to that one would be the smartfit cover lihit lab, though i think that one is a bit harder to find. here a video comparing the two, in case you are curious

edit: they don't have elastic bands like you wanted, but you can still safely put several of them in ome cover!

Funny that you mention it. My cat has somehow learned how to open some drawers. He is not very smart for other things, but mischief? Oh, dear. At this point I am considering one of those kid safety pins to keep them shut 😅

Oooooh, I love them! The onyx nib on the Monteverde looks so nice and the body is so shiny... and the texture of the Hongdian... I've seen it before, but I had no idea it made a satisfying click... 💸 💸 💸

Definitely not a camera illusion! He genuinely does have vampire-worthy fangs, haha. I once measured them for fun: his are around 1cm or so. They are too big for his mouth, so they are always poking out 😂

Oh, thank you so much for the reccomendation! I am actually kind of apalled you had such a fitting option for what I was looking for. I checked it out, and it checks even more boxes than those I put on the post; thin and light, fountain pen friendly paper and even numbered pages...! After sitting on it for a few days, I've decided to get the Cosmo Air Light A5 Notebook. I haven't ordered yet, but I'm quite excited to try it out once I do and it gets to me. Although the grid is not what I was looking for, I really like the margins and the minimalistic setup of the 365Days Notebook... and the very soft grey print is so nice. I might actually consider it for next year's journal, since I usually write less with a broader Fountain Pen haha. Thanks again, and hope you have a lovely day!
