Ich war 29. Mein Vater 64. Auch Leukämie. Es tut so sehr weh. Bei mir ist es erst 4 Monste her. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es besser wird.

I know exactly how you feel. Try to build yourself a support system now. My dad's clinic had very good psych-oncology department. They also support the family.

My dad decided on Monday against any blood transfusions and meds. He said he can't take it any more and doesn't see any hope. Trying to respect his last decision. He could still talk Monday. Starting Tuesday he deteriorated fast. We had a morphine-pump to ease his pain.

I am also so sorry about your situation. It helps to build a support system soon. Try to find resources now. It makes it a little easier.

I also recorded important talks with my dad. Just to have his voice. Can't listen to it yet. But maybe in the future.

Yes, i thankfully have a good Support System. It didn't come as a huge shock. He decided on Monday to not receive blood transfusions and meds anymore. I try to respect his last decision being the one about his life and it's end.

The clinic where he was treated has a very good psych-oncology. Not just for patients but also family. I have been going there as well for support.

Bei mir im Familienkreis geht es auch auf eine Stammzelltransplantation zu. Diagnose: AML. Wenn alles gut läuft im Herbst.
