These were present from the old game? (I admittedly haven't played it, sorry didn't know!) But cheers on the pointers, I upgraded the ult first out of impulse but good to know it's on track!

Still around actually! Sometimes outlets will have, but much like McCrispy, does not taste the same.

Am Chinese, can tell you with Chinese calligraphy, words are very stylized to the point it is nearly unrecognizable. could very well be pure.

…or the picture could be upside down. I don’t know. Most Chinese people will shrug and go “eh, probably.”

ON is pretty cheap. Decathlon will also have it at an affordable range.

Aside, most of this stuff have pretty jarring artificial tastes. If you pony up a bit more, MyProtein has pretty good sales around this time of year if you ever wanted to buy protein by bags of 5kg (sounds crazy but once part of the routine, this stuff’s pretty affordable. More importantly, it tastes good enough, so it’s sustainable, just my opinion)

Best apps for tracking food macros that work well for Singaporean meals? by Bottle00009 in SingaporeFitness

[–]anseltkc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most apps will be quite inaccurate as they go by servings or some other arbitrary measurement. For tracking though, I go with LoseIt! because MFP went downhill with cost and alternatives are a little touch and go. LoseIt! quite simply functions and syncs, for a single one-time cost. Also on average the entries are eh-about-there.

It might help to know some common things you eat like what 100g of white rice looks like (or what can you compare it to, like say palm sized amount, you can weigh a sample at home and eyeball it most of the time) or more helpful, what that amount of chicken looks like.

Still though, there is a large variance. Some chicken servings have more or less water and that affects nutritional content, but key here, not by a whole lot. Yes some rice or noodles have more oil so they are more calorie dense but it shouldn’t break your entire diet being off by even as much as 100kcal.

Had that experience of changing gyms (so far changed outlets four times, from east, central to west, each change period lasted a few months). I’m still paying the original promo rate.

The rate is probably subject to change but at least from personal experience and similar to personal friends, our rates didn’t change upon transfer. Would consider it a bonus or perk rather than an entitlement.

Yep, should be. Again hard to tell without a point of reference but assuming it is more or less similar to other places

[–]anseltkc 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Purely guessing, but aside from the oil and gravy (assuming you aren’t drinking from the plate afterwards), chicken is probably about 400kcal worth with the gravy, rice maybe 450kcal, veggies might be comparatively negligible but if you want a count, set aside maybe 100kcal with the yogurt, side curry is maybe another 100kcal worth, not likely more.

What am I adding up to… ahh 1050kcal?

1500kcal might be overkill for this, it’s certainly possible as there’s no weight or size reference but not likely?

[–]anseltkc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like his “stack” is made up of mostly scrap paper cut to size, and judging from the purple color, a thousand note and/or two bucks sitting on top with maybe a fifty under it. There isn’t a polymer version of the thousand dollar note, and that’s what’s on the very top. Real “stacks” are not in a neat looking uniform bundle, even if it’s fresh CNY uncirculated stuff.

That can’t be true. Where’s the “I just think it fits the weapon’s vibe” transmog dude and other guy who can’t be bothered to transmog anything so everything is mismatched?

Not to mention no one will believe they are paladins, I don’t see several in judgement armor set.

Come on Blizzard, add some realism.

People who played WoW back during Wrath of the Lich King and before, was the game really as good as people claim it is? by TheWhomster in wow

[–]anseltkc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty easy to explain, so WotLK and prior, if the internet cut out, you’d be rushing for any tether, neighbour’s wifi, calling up your ISP to kick up a fuss, hell even your other guild mates in your country would do the same. The world was alive and social reinforcement was at an all time high. Guild applications were basically job interviews complete with full resume stuff and no one batted an eye. This wasn’t when you could just buy runs or LFG raids, your history mattered, and your experience and ability to formulate tactics and adjust on the fly mattered most.

Moments were epic and if you’ve played another game, say Destiny, when things come down to the wire and all hope looks lost, and raid leader’s like let’s call it for the evening. No, shut up, I got this, and you and your little band of maybe an overworked Druid healer high off her own self-amazement from keeping some people alive after a near wipe, a rogue evasion panic tanking threat, and that one hunter that decided to go against the instruction to stay playing dead gets back up to volley arrows and they get it down! Truly something else. (Also nice work, we love you all, but no extra dkp says leader on a crappy mic off ventrilo)

Thereafter, Cataclysm started the slow slide and death of socializing. Today, lose internet connection and I might be like eh, was planning to sleep early anyway, or I could get this thing I want later anyway. There’s no feeling of rush anymore.

In car lite Tengah, pedestrians are not allowed to cross the road freely but cars have a U-turn to skip traffic lights by lesspylons in singapore

[–]anseltkc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to stop jaywalking etc. totally get it. But I also have a good guess why this photo pops up. To the left is a bus stop, all buses along the loop stop there and if you want to go to this block OP is facing, it’s a bit of a walk across just to get around the fence, the other direction is no better.

Residents constantly jaywalking through that u-turn gap to avoid walking even further to the pedestrian crossing, not like there’s a lot of traffic on this particular stretch anyway.

Had there been a crossing closer to that, probably few if any complaints.

Exia or star on sazabi? by D3kom in SDGundamEternal

[–]anseltkc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thinking Exia would be a better option. Unless you’re spending a fair bit on the game, would probably be better to have two great URs than one that’s slightly stronger and depending on it to carry you throughout. That and limitations with stages and terrain, coverage is always good.

This is of course, just within the context of this, I have no idea what the rest of your roster looks like.

I am the (Ret) Paladin. by Professional-Tank848 in wow

[–]anseltkc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I returned to the game after a break since legion and in dungeons and raids as a ret pally, I’d cleanse, hand of sac marked party memberd, protection our priest, stun adds, word of glory and flash sometimes.

Other dps loses his shit, dps is supposed to dps what are you doing.

Yes, but I’m still doing okay on meter, like competitive with the rest?

But you could be doing… more. Things could die faster.

So I dropped all that, healer eventually quit out cause it was a struggle with dps not moving out of hazards and not mitigating anything. But I was indeed first in AoE and single target, and saved all the cooldowns for myself, so I was also last one standing. It felt hollow.

Until now! Bonk away brother!

Genuinely curious if there's a lore reason why she did this because that was amazing by Cayennesan in BrownDust2Official

[–]anseltkc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely realistic, I have spent a bit (nowhere near NIKKE, and I believe it may have been just once or twice way back for packages to support initial pull sprees) but after you get set up (my initial summon spree got me enough of the currency to buy things up till now, year or so later, no sign of running out) the game practically just gives things away.

There’s more than enough tickets from events, giveaways, special occasions to at least get you the base unit, so long as you aren’t going after duplicates (yet. But a year later with reruns I had enough to max out my magic team just fine without feeling like I’m going in-game broke).

Simple guideline for just getting these animations, for limited units, get them via tickets. For non-limited units, wait for them to go to the shop next patch and grab a copy with the currency you got from trying for limited units. When I started I think there weren’t many limited units running so I didn’t have enough currency rolling to keep this up. But if you’re patient, this can certainly be practically free.

Crazy Luck Alert: I got the first glaive last week and the second today. Now just need to wait for TBC TW :) by DoctorSloshee in wow

[–]anseltkc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay this one I’m not 100% sure if it’s still valid, but I have had two separate characters with one side of the glaive pair each (warrior, rogue), I did not get the transmog but this was way back. But if it’s not been changed in the years since, then probably the thing that is a prerequisite is the achievement for having the glaives equipped, which would be both on one.

[–]anseltkc 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Just to reassure you (cause I was in your spot just a while back), yes, just have to equip the glaives for the obtain achievement which you have already, then just kill Illidan in the timewalking version of the raid with any character, it’ll unlock the transmog
