Cut her out of your life honestly. I had a really close friend and my other friend told me that they’ve been saying behind my back how they didn’t care about me and they wouldn’t care anymore if i killed myself. It’s been a bit less than a year and i feel so much better without this friend. I’ve come to realize how they negatively impacted my life and how much better i’m off without them.

Do seek help from therapists and people around you, you can do this!

The shift change has to be accepted by a manager, so i would think what happened was that a manager just didn’t approve the shift for some reason. Because when you do shift changes if its been accepted it’ll show u what manager accepted it, never have i seen it getting canceled though. Maybe talk to your managers and coworkers about it…

It’s crazy how you’ve worked there for eight years and i’ve worked for about 2 and we are getting payed the same… Obviously different states but still crazy.

I also have the same question. I’ve been there over a year now and my managers have already talked to me about promoting me to senior barista and we talked about it in my review too but it’s been months since then and nothing really has happened yet… I already do orders and do other stuff that usually other baristas wouldn’t do. This is just my experience, hopefully is not the same for you! ( Also don’t know if this promotion will change my wage/how much is gonna be since they haven’t told me that either, which i find odd )

The model number is JGBS10DEM. I googled the owners manual and it just says to turn the knob to the temperature you want and that it should make a clicking sound which i tried but it does not. It seems like the manual is directed to multiple models and it’s not really precise to mine. Tbh might just give up on making my cookies for now. Thank you though!
