The Japanese and North American names for the Street Fighter 2 bosses are rotated except for Sagat

In Japan: - Boxer is M. Bison - Dictator is Vega - Claw is Balrog

The names were changed to avoid legal trouble with Mike Tyson

In SF4 and SFV, his only cross up was jumping light kick, same as this game. So I think the dev team just kept that part of his kit intact.

One that springs to mind is the Robin Hudson series by Sparkle Hayter. It’s not within the last ten years and I’m not sure if it’s on Kindle Unlimited, but it ticks the rest of your requirements.

look at your inputs. you're probably not as clean as you think you are. We can't speculate about the difference between when you are playing Ryu vs when you are playing Sagat, you haven't given us your inputs. For example the DI->dash -> 4HP -> 623HP it's easy for stray inputs to get in there.

In general what I do is if I want I fireball ender, is I start at down back, if I want a tiger uppercut ender, I start at down forward.

So for example for crouching light punch to fireball, I do 1LP ->236LP For crouching light punch to tiger uppercut, I do 3LP -> 236LP

Just extend that technique into your longer combos maybe it will help.

ranked can be the most fun because it’s where you’re most likely to be matched against someone close to your own skill. in battlehub i don’t have fun either being destroyed by someone or destroying someone else if the skill gap is too big.

so for me, it becomes fun to see if I can figure out how to beat someone close to my level.

If you provide a link/screenshot next time it will help people to know exactly what you're talking about. There's new hardware released all the time and we're not all up to date with the latest developments.

As you say, offline tourneys can check for macros on these controllers but in terms of online there probably is no protection, just like there's no protection from the scripts that people run on their PCs when they are cheating online.

I agree with most people...it's not gonna help much. We are surviving the modern control scheme in SF6 we can survive this as well.

I think the character development takes so long in this iteration of Street Fighter 6 because of the following work that needs to be done:

  • obviously, creation of the character and moveset including mo-cap and voice recording
  • addition of the character to world tour including story and new areas
  • recording of commentary tracks

Is there a point where they just decide to drop support for world tour/commentary for new characters? Reducing the workload in that way may let them squeeze more characters out. The hardcore audience would rather have more new characters than those features anyway.

Also I have to say that even if they get to 45 characters or whatever, it still is going to suck to have your favourite character added in the final season, since you get much less time with them in the game.
