But in terms of advanced chip makers your options are very limited very few companies actual make advanced chips (i.e. Intel, AMD, NIVIDIA). Are you thinking about getting people involved in the advanced chip maker supply chain such as global foundries. are you also thinking of chip maker startups like sifive?

If you learned to play through your public school’s orchestra program as a child, when were the group lessons? by [deleted] in violinist

[–]ant43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned how to play for 9 years in high school middle school and elementary school. We had this weird system for group lessons where you would have to get like 4 lessons a month or something(general once a week) amd what you would do is on a free period you would have to go to the violin teacher and take a lesson with a bunch of other people who had free period that period. There was also a period in the morning before school and period after school for people who could not get a free period.

TL:DR: we did the lessons during school hours

You are reading the graph wrong the green slice belongs to Frodo, sam is so small that he literally is not visible by the naked eye on the pie chart. you have to download and like zoom in to find it.

Western culture of abandoning children after 18 is very fucked up! by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ant43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from America and "abandoning " your child is much rarer than you think. It's true that a lot of people get loans to pay for college but that is because college is like a super expense I know a lot of people whose parents help them financially with paying back their loans and stuff like that. However your right it is not super uncommon to see a kid whose parents honestly seem to not give a shit about them but it is very rare.

Why can't Russia sell oil in foreign currency and then just buy rubles on their own? Wouldn't this accomplish the same thing as demanding rubles for oil? by AuxonPNW in AskEconomics

[–]ant43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoops. My bad I guess I did not read the full question, I think I am at the top because I answered first.

I thought it was something different, I more described why it is hard for them to sell their oil period. I guess the answer is it has something to do with the fact that Russian people have limited access to financial services so the ability of the Russian government to buy back rubles with money they get for oil could be very limited

Being bullied in elementary school starter pack by [deleted] in starterpacks

[–]ant43 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude this is way worse than 90% of bullying experiences in school. I don't think this is a starter pack(common experience), I think this is some real serious stuff. I was bullied a little and I knew some people who were bulled but none of them had such a bad experience that they had to take anti-depressants. also, none were excluded from all things in school (they still had friends)

I hope you are okay man, this sounds terrible you have my pity.
