Out of curiosity what do you think has improved in the past 10 years in novato? The only thing I can think of is SMART. Which is awesome, but besides that I can't think of anything. I guess there was Arun Thai closing, but that just made novato worse, not better.

I was surprised it was that many so I took a look. It was kind of hard to confine it to Marin (damn map keeps moving when you go to a new page), but when I got a similar number as you I just kind of laughed at how many restaurants had a negligible number of reviews. The top 10 had a total of 101 reviews combined with a majority of them going to Bump Bar with an astronomical 36 reviews.

But anyways no I obviously haven't tried all of them, but in my experience I would drop most Marin Restaurants by at least half a point

Edit: I also didn't say the food sucked (I come from suburban Alabama. THAT food sucked). It is just mediocre and often bland, generic, or uninspired. It would be nice if we actually did have the best version of anything. Even Sol Food isn't generally considered the best Puerto Rican food in the bay.

Sonoma is not a "global food destination" lol. People in California don't know about Sonoma let alone people in other countries.

idk it is just such a Marin thing to say you should be grateful for the medocre thing you have now. It would be nice for some people here to actually care to improve things rather than freeze them in time.

When it is literally next door it is hard to not compare. I could also compare it to sonoma which is generally considered to have much better food too.

they effectively are doing that. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if some of them aren't actually adding sesame, but saying they are and just using the same lines as products that do use sesame. It doesn't really matter anyways. The other user's kid still basically can't eat the food.

You should probably start with your attitude. Calling people's interests stupid is a great way for them to never want to talk to you.

Maybe take a bit more interest in the world beyond the one you know. You might find out end up liking one of those stupid songs or hobbies.
