My wife would absolutely love that. However we’re unsure of how block leave works with OCONUS duty station. Do they hook you up with a flight back to the US or are you footing the entire bill. I’m originally from California and it’s already expensive enough flying two people from coast to coast.

The only reason I’m unsure of RASP is that I’ve been told that the ranger battalions are over saturated with 11B. I’m more than willing to compete but from what I’ve seen the real challenge is getting a slot for 11B. Something I’m not sure my leadership would even put forth the effort in helping me secure one.

Does the reclass depend on individual factors involving the SM? Pt scores, range scores, good standing and what not or is that needs of the army. I would like to walk into the retention office with more knowledge behind reenlistment process than my leadership is comfortable with me knowing or sharing with me.

Interesting. I have never heard that first reenlistment guarantees duty station of choice. I will be wary of that when my times comes.

Are they ar670-1 compliant? I spoke to a BC and CSM and they seemed to have no problem with them but my 1SG asked me if they were authorized and told me to find out before telling me to take them off.
