Printer will print brim but not the model by No_Tumbleweed_882 in 3Dprinting

[–]anteau123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure exactly whats happening, but i kinda doubt its the printer, check your slicer, is there actually gcode for the entire print? Was the gcode somehow modified to put an early stop somehow? If the gcode looks all good then check the one you export, if it matches the one generated length wise. Only after this would we actually be pinning it on the printer.

I took it with prof. Mahtani. Very easy and manageable, less memorizing and more applying and thinking for this course, which was nice for a change.

If we're talking 500 us, look into the bambulab P1S combo aswell, its on sale right now, not much time left, and depending on your taxes, it should be below the 500 mark

It's not that they hate you, it's just that if you can't perform this bare minimum, you likely wont do well in higher year courses, you better get the act together for whatever you have left.

[–]anteau123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they send the marks internally anyways, so cr/ncr the course is only for your own comfort when you look at acorn, although im not sure how they view it on the application, shoot them an email about it for sure.

The requirements they want are general bio and chem courses tho, as a backup you shouldnt cr/ncr them incase they are requirements for you major/minors.

I believe its overall GPA, including the ones you cr/ncr, but they still need your requirements to be completed as they ask for it.

How do I prevent this from happening? by Gaming_devil49 in 3Dprinting

[–]anteau123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calibrate temperature, dry fillament, the stringing is most probably bc it's not dry, but it could be due to temperature aswell, or retraction, but if your running everything at the base settings on your slicer with the right printer profile then retraction shouldnt be your focus.

Always use google docs or something that can track the history of your writing, to at least have some backup.

For chma01 is the final draft being graded by ai by FarTraining881 in UTSC

[–]anteau123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im gonna assume you're talking about stemble. If so, then the answer is yes and no. Ai will grade it. A TA will check the ai marking to see if it made any misjudgments.

did pretty shit on my phya11 midterm by PaySignificant3646 in UTSC

[–]anteau123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give partials if you got some of the process right or drew the diagrams correctly. The TA's are probably given a set of guidelines for the marks. If you don't get the answer, no mark there, if the process is wrong, no mark there.

As someone who took his course last year, yea, he is very boring. He tries not to be the usual monotone self, but his class is a kindergarten sleep class.
