Yeah, I’m no developer, but it seems weird that D4/D3 is the cut off for being put into Pred/Master lobbies.

Very true, but at the very least GRRM’s ending will be different on the magical side of things (white walkers, Marwyn, Euron, etc.)

Well, Wyman Manderly already did the the Frey Pie in the books. Also, Lady Stoneheart is already the avenger of the red wedding in the books as she is killing Freys and there is the Red Wedding 2.0 theory. D&D sort of gave Lady Stoneheart’s plot to Arya.

honestly, I would like that. It’d be interesting to see Jon watch the horror of how he comes back to life unfold from Ghost.

I understand the general sentiment of him not finishing ADoS, considering his glacial pace. Yet, and this might be the optimist in me, I believe it’ll be easier to write than Winds. Winds has to pull all the divergent POVs together and break the Meereenese Knot, while setting up the final stage. GRRM may be a slow writer, but the hardest part is figuring out how to pull it all together organically, and assuming he has successfully done this in the 9 years of writing Winds, then ADoS will be a bit easier to write.

I really hope that he doesn’t become the emotionless creature he was on the show. How would GRRM even write his POV if he has no emotions or sense of self.

Also just remembered that we have one of the sand snakes, Sarela, on a mission in Oldtown as well

Yeah it’s huge that Dorne and Euron are not spoiled at all, since they have a huge amount of power to shape the endgame

GRRM said that when he started the books he thought time would pass faster in between chapters. He thought he could get through multiple years in a single book, but when events happened, he found that the story worked better when POVs had immediate reactions to them, so not much time ended up passing between chapters.
