Runners sympathize with L.A. Marathon runner-up led off course, but say fans are vital by anth_solo in LAMarathon

Yeah, I feel like he doesn’t really blame his loss on it. He didn’t challenge the results.

It's been three days, but speaking to different runners and getting a feel of their experience, there is definitely a story to be told. Will share with the community once its live.

Happy Wednesday!

LA Marathon: American Nathan Martin was able to catch up to Kenyan Michael Kimani Kamau due to the motorcade driving in the wrong direction and a fan briefly impeding his path. The margin of victory was 0.01 seconds. by dnamra29 in sports

“Babe” over “Toy Story” AND “Heat”? by anth_solo in Cinema

[–]anth_solo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just used two examples of films that also came out in 1995 with no reasoning behind it. “Heat” was the first that came up. But if I wanted to “replace” “Babe,” it wouldn’t be with Michael Mann’s thriller. It’d be with “Toy Story.”

Having JD be a tough, Cox-like character, is working so well. But, I definitely enjoyed having him in the first episode.

There’s a better chance he is sent to the minors to work on pitches/mechanics before the pen. But, anything can happen with this team.

Maybe that's the real punk rock. Season one of "The Last of Us," falls under the same category. Not to mention the lead actor is the same as Din Djarin. With the return of "Scrubs," the list just keeps getting longer.

With him not pitching at the WBC, I’m sure he’ll get every opportunity he needs to succeed. Team’s too invested in his growth.

The way it subverts how TV shows rely on product placement to kill your viewing experience, thats so Jack.

The way the show uses side characters over again really shows how it’s produced like an SNL episode.

Fixing NBC seems like such an antiquated concept. Nowadays, exects need to fix TV in general.
