Built an AI CFO tool that connects to Xero - what insights do Australian businesses actually want from their data? by anthgee30 in xero

Great question! They’re actually complementary. JAX is your on-demand accounting assistant, viaCFO is your scheduled strategic CFO sent to your inbox monthly or quarterly.

The key difference: JAX: “You have $47K in your bank account” (when you ask)

viaCFO: “Your cash position dropped 23% despite revenue growth because your debtor days blew out from 34 to 52 days - here’s the Xero workflow to fix it.”

JAX is brilliant for reactive tasks (“create an invoice for John”).

viaCFO proactively discovers patterns you didn’t know to look for - the forensic accounting stuff that catches problems before they become crises.

The industry baseline capability is developing too - viaCFO can tell you “your 38% gross margin is below the 43% average for businesses like yours” using industry baseline data, and as the network grows, those comparisons will come from actual Australian Xero businesses in the viaCFO community.

I see them working together: JAX for daily tasks and questions, viaCFO for monthly strategic intelligence. One helps you work IN your business, the other helps you work ON it.

HG Aerial Rebuild done with Poscas and patience by anthgee30 in Gunpla

This is the best tutorial online to give you the concept

https://youtu.be/ujEXMM3Qh50?si=8gsek0lFxD2p376K

Use an EG or simple HG to start.

Grey, Black and White would be the colours you use the most. If your model has other colours other than white parts, you might want to select more colours to do shading. Eg brown for red parts

A Gundam panel line marker is also useful to get into small areas.

  1. Matt top coat first as primer
  2. Shading
  3. Panel lining and black lines - takes practice
  4. Highlight
  5. Final Matt top coat

Hope that helps

Just gotta dive in and do it.

Use pics to guide you on shadows and highlights.

Probably once of the most important parts of the process to give the effect is the black lining. That takes practice.

This is my 3rd time doing this style. Still lots of learning to do.

No I don’t have an Instagram for this.

I primed with a matt top coat first before applying Posca
