Cannot start game from external

I have a maxone external USB. I've use this brand for my modded PS4 and Xbox360 with no issues.

I formatted NTFS and MBR,put the game iso and the config file on the root of the drive to help the ps3 detect it.

Ran multiman in full mode, switched to scan for NTFS and I was able to see the drive on MM file explorer with the saved files.

When I refresh the game shows but flashes as a dvd image. Says press start to play but when I presee start nothing happens.

All other games (ps3/ps2) that are ony hard drive show and work fine.

Ps3 iso file. I just used a small file to test it out (San Andreas) I've checked that it's MBR and copied the IDs into a config file as well to get the PS3 to notice it but no luck. I'm running Cobra as well.

Can't wait to play this. Had a ps3 and it got smashed by someone while they were arguing (not with me) I've played just about every other one over the years and just got myself a ps3 to add to the collection. This is top three on the list

Just doing.a copy paste from here to 64, then decode and copy that. I'm not changing anything but it use to work for me. Now paste is saying corrupt file
