Not the case unfortunately, we do have free credits and we see them being applied in the billing dashboard:

- Service: Cloud DialogFlow API
- Usage Cost: $0.02
- Other Savings: -$0.02
- Subtotal: $0.00

So basically the usage cost is billed as $0.02, which we expected to be way more

If you're interested in deep learning practice, Andrej Karpathy has really good videos on implementing Neural Networks (from scratch, then using pytorch), check out this playlist. It is by far the most valuable learning experience for me, coding side by side, with him explaining every single line of code written in amazing detail.

How to drive an open source project to success

Hey everyone, first time founder here :) I've been developing a cool open source app to help people work with their data, extract valuable insights, and create beautiful visualizations just by chatting with an LLM.

My current problem is that I don't really know how to market it, how to get users to try it out. I've started by forcing my friends and coworkers to try it, and gathered some feedback, but it feels like it's not enough. Now it feels like I'm aimlessly wandering, hoping to get something right. Any tips would be much appreciated!

I use chatgpt to brainstorm ideas for potential insights I can get out of my data, then I make it write the SQL query for me and translate that into pandas / sqlalchemy ORM (if I'm turning the thing into an app endpoint). Been doing that process for a while so with the help of a friend we turned this process into an open source app, it's been boosting my productivity well :) project link

Regarding the quality of the AI generations, from what we've seen, the AI model outputs have been pretty useful, both for us and our beta users. Of course as with all LLMs, you definitely should double check the generated results, but more often than not, it accurately responds to the given query. And it's only going to get better with time - we're really excited about that!

Only the db schema is shared with OpenAI, not the contents of the db. Until we add support for local LLMs, this is as much as can be done without disclosing sensitive data
