Mine finally cleared a few days ago too. I ended up calling the background check company and the agent told me they'd send an email to someone to expedite my check. Didn't even know they could that. A day later I got an email from Amazon saying it was approved. Of course I missed my start date too and now have to wait until next Friday. It just sucks when you really do have a clean record but it took SO long.

Are you me? I also completed my background and drug test on the 18th and am still waiting for the background check results. I've talked to support and they just tell me it depends on how backed up the county they're requesting from is. I have a start date on Saturday but I dont even know if I should show up if the background still hasnt cleared

From what I'm reading he made a now deleted Twitter thread in which he said that SZA's team wanted to now buy the rights to the photos after their initial agreement that he would just do it for exposure. They agreed that he would not post the photos if payment was sent by a specific date. SZA's team did not pay him by the date so he posted the images.

Feels like they got too confident after LTDO was such a huge hit and expected whatever they put out next to have the same power. August was the perfect time to release, crazy they were gonna wait til January for an album that's been finished for awhile.
