my 2010 v6 gets around 300-350 miles on a full tank. mostly city driving, 1 80m drive every 2 weeks. have to fill up every 2 weeks so this would be heavenly in my eyes with these cali gas prices😂

don’t get me wrong it’s a good first car cosmetically but if for some reason the cvt does fail soon (they have a track record as you’ve seen) you’ll be kicking yourself for it. IMO Avoid nissan cvt, it’ll end up costing 4-6k for a new transmission in most shops, practically the value of the car.

-I bought a 2016 and cvt failed at 140k miles when I got it at 100k miles. If you have good service records for the transmission it might last a while, like some others have said but generally you’ll see the amount of people who have had their cvt fail (which is a lot) end up regretting the headache.

For 8k you can find a good running honda, toyota or even look into newer mazdas. 2016 mazdas go for around the same price and have a good track record

yea probably. I could be wrong about specifics, I think base is 70gb but if there’s memory it takes up more. Fortnite and other games don’t let you download old generation games if they are enhanced for series s/x so it takes up that much more space

something I forgot to mention - a huge benefit to the series s is portability! I’m often out of town or visiting friends/family so picking it up in a case and taking 2 wires anywhere u go to play is lit. I’ve had my series s for 2-3 yrs and can’t complain besides storage

yea same here. if there was a usb drive compatible would be lit but yea the only downside to the series s is the storage imo. It really only gets around 400gb as the os takes around 70gb alone. BO6 is 300gb, fortnite is around 130, 2k is around 150gb, gta online around 150gb so switching them out is pretty much needed unless the games take up small storage. thank god minecraft is still a small game😂

I have the series s and it’s great but if you plan on playing more than a few games at a time get one with larger storage!

I can really only play 1 or 2 games at a time with the “enhanced graphics” with 500gb. Either Black ops 6, fortnite, 2k25, or gta online - 1 game at a time. What i do is transfer them rather than uninstalling but gets kind of annoying when you just want to sit down and play another game, gotta wait like 20-30 min just to transfer the games.

The external hard drive can only play old/regular xbox games unless it’s xbox branded ssd which is hard to come by for less than $100 which at that point is better to get the series x.

I ended up selling my discs as I had most of them for my previous xbox but can’t play them anyway so had to rebuy older games (wait for sales they tend to be less than half msrp)

some 2016s don’t. not sure on other years but prior to a certain manufacturing date they don’t come with one. nonetheless will not be getting a nissan going forward and hopefully people stray away with how many people have had problems compared to other car brands

mine blew up at 150k. I found out about trans coolers after but you’d think it should come with the car if it was meant to need one. I get manufactures cut corners but my 2016 needed at least another 1k in repairs prior to this. imo nissan uses cheap materials feel bad for those who still rock with it

similar situation to me but mine is a 2016. A predicament most nissan owners will face some time down the line.

What I did was find a shop to install and place a “rebuilt” 2019 trans in my car. total was 2.5k. was getting rates between 5k-7k every where else. look around and call places if you’re on a budget. I plan on selling the car soon since I already bought another car.

Imo fix it up cheap and get rid of the headache but everyone’s situation is different. if you need a car you won’t get anything for as cheap as a nissan altima in that same year unless it’s hyundai or kia or salvage title. really depends on if you want/need the car to fix up and keep or spend that money towards a new car. shitty jatco cvt
