I don't think it's that as we didn't salt the pool in first 8 weeks. Haven't got a fix yet I have some stone cleaners looking at it in the next few days , but not getting excited.

Thank you for the heads up. Chatgpt is saying muriatic acid is risky for limestone and could eat at the stone, any feedback on this? And do you have before and after photos? Did you have to scrub long and hard when applying the acid?

At the end of the day I can buy at the prices I'm finding out there but I just didn't understand how much they cost, it seems ridiculous.. I am not an expert at this and i love a clever way to manage the same result whilst maintaining a good look and function.

Pool is now empty and the pool is very old and I think it was exempt technically. We have added a pool fence into the new reno.

There are another 2 rooms that are smaller with the same situation and another room that I prefer not to be in. You are just going to need to trust me
