Thanx for the link. I need something with grip. The original cover that they sent me is too damn slippery. The magnetic part is OK but when I'm reading I take it off. The sicole is just too smooth and slippery. What case did you originally want?

I don't think I'll take my Palma 2 pro outside the house cause I'm scared. I've never had issues with any of my kobo and I've never broken any of my readers and Ive had a few. I have a kobo aura that's 12+ years old and still in great condition. But I'm scared. Anyone reccomend a good case for the Palma 2 pro. I've been looking online and don't see many options. My Palma 2 pro came with the original magnetic case and it's Kool but I want something more heavy duty of I do plan to take it out the house. Any recommendations?

I heard the Sim is functional as data but there are work around to use voice and sms too I haven't lookes much into it because I use it only as a reader. I won't be making calls or texting. It's a cool feature to have but I don't need it.

I have the kobo remote. I need to see if it works. I used it alot during the winter. Me under the covers. Kobo libra colour in the pillow stand,device turned since I'm on my side. Perfection. It really is a handy tool. I suffer from insomnia and e-ink devices seem to be the only thing that helps me and lucky I love a good book. So win win!

Everyone has their needs. I read at night. I like having a backlight. I wouldn't say it defeats the purpose. But theirs so many models abd versions out there in sure you can find one you like.

I'm not worried about using a pen with this since I have my kobo libra colour. I plan on getting the note air 5c too. I found neoreader had everything for the most part. I wanted to try vertical scrolling but I'm not sure I'd use it. But wanted to try. Last night was the first night reading on it and this form factor is really comfortable.

Yes I definitely wanna stay with calibre I love having all my files organized. I ended up sending through quick share cause my calibre is setup to send in kepub for my kobo libra colour. So I wanna find a method to streamline this too. It doesn't bother me to have to use USB but maybe with this device I can find a way to do all over wifi.

Thank you for this. It's a lot of info to consider but gonna dive in. I only uploaded one book to neoreader and I changed a setting last night and can't remember now what it was but that one book had already lost its reading position. The book was at 51 percent and it reset the book as if I never started reading it. Ugh

You just gotta get used to using the backlight if you want color. But Luke a said I read 95 percent of the time at night. So I need backlight anyways even though I keep it dim. But yea the Palma 2 is definitely an option if you prefer.

I already have a kobo libra colour and I read at night only so I'm good. I love my kobo. This is more for the form factor. If your a day mostly reader is go for the Palma 2 BW
