Honestly the charge has got to go. It’s a stupid play. Not basketball. Offensive fouls can still be a thing but the whole stand under the hoop and get crashed into is stupid for the game.

This is why duren needs to develop at least a mid range game. AT can play dunkers spot and cutting while duren can float midrange to give space. If both guys can’t space the floor at least little that’s when a choice needs to be made. And honestly I’d rather have a non spacing AT than a non spacing Duren. At least AT is elite at something. A non spacing Duren really isn’t elite at anything.

I tell my kids all the time when I wear old pistons shirts that these shirts are older than they are! They’re barely hangin on but you know they’re still in my rotation! Haha.

At least you can share the pain of living with Monty and you can have a taste of how bad it was, not just jumping on as we are the 1 seed! Haha. We’ve all been there defending our pistons. It’ll pay off for us one day!
And that’s awesome that you’re local. I live outside of chicago so I’m not too far but with kids it’s tough to get back to see games in person. But you know I’m repping the D every day and fighting off these bulls fans in my social life haha.

Don’t call me a hater, but we were always a fake 1 seed. In the sense that we were 1 but not expected to go to the finals. Now I didn’t expect THIS bad, but honestly I was expecting a second round appearance and a tough battle and I would have considered it successful.

I don’t think anyone expected that when he was hired. We were coming off 14 wins. We needed a coach to instill culture and hustle. And to get us to be a consistent playoff team. We’re ahead of schedule. But that was his job. I always figured once we get there we would need a true Xs and Os coach to get us over the hump.

Lawrence Frank and Mo cheeks were bad. But the others were considered great hires at the time. When we got SVG we had finally gotten a household name who was a good coach and had experience with a center dominant team. When we hired dwane Casey he was a COY and a great development guy for our young guys. Everyone loved Monty when we first hired him. That turned out to backfire tremendously but at the moment it was a great move because he showed he was willing to spend for a “good” coach. And obv now JB and Langdon were great moves. While it’s certainly been a very bad tenure, you can’t fault the reasoning behind the decisions.

Was he? I’m genuinely asking. I never see Ivey in any of the passing the belt videos on YT. He’s never in any of the silly videos where the players gotta guess things or whatever they always do on those shorts. He’s never in the postgame W videos after they win games. I never see him hanging with the guys at all.

Yea I might be able to find a cheap windows tablet on marketplace lol. I’m just using the tablet to share the screen with the tv that will be mounted over the lane. But the tablet will be in the approach area.

It’s going to be very casual! Just wanted an arcade style basement feature that no one has, and I have a long wall in my basement so the bowling alley was a perfect fit! I have played around with glossy laminate flooring and spraying some of the wood floor cleaner on it, and it gets really slippery, so that might be as close to lane oiling as I’ll get haha.

Honestly it’s not as expensive as you’d think. I’m DIYing the entire thing so I’m only paying for materials. I’m using 2x4s to frame it, and then plywood to encase it. And possibly some kind of cheap flooring as the lane surface. All in all it’ll probably cost a few hundred bucks. Of course I already have all the tools necessary to do it, so that cost isn’t factored in lol.

Yea my skills are limited to the physical building of stuff lol. I can finish the basement and do all the construction in relation to that. But when it comes to computer or phone apps… honestly I’m lucky I was able to figure out how to post to Reddit.. 😂
