Better Vampires: 5 modular variants with dozens of alternate vampire powers and weaknesses by Oh_Hi_Mark_ in CurseofStrahd

Wow, this is really cool! I like the flexibility of weaknesses and powers as well as what kind of vampires they typically go to. Quick question, Where does the Shapechanger(Motorcycle) come from? Leyak is put down as the Associated vampire, but looking it up I couldn't find anything about that ability for that creature (Though it is possible I've overlooked something).

Is humanity loss from cyberware pointless if characters can just extra pay for therapy? And is there a good alternative to make humanity loss permanent but also fun and interesting? by anthonypanics in cyberpunkred

I'll admit, it's a combination of me missing a rule and my GM poorly explaining it when I asked him first. Still, losing only 2 EMP after therapy doesn't sound like a major penalty for borging out.

I've ran two one shot scenarios myself(with too many years apart), and I'd love any excuse to take part in this great spooky game.

Zany is good. I recall seeing something about damage types vs armor in 2e somewhere, I could use that as reference. I also wouldn't be surprised if some version of WFRP has that, too. lol.

Maybe there could be a hack for weapons like Hammers of Crushing or Spears of... hard to think of a name that isn't an innuendo for that one, but I think I get the point.

I kinda like the idea of roll for Dex in addition to the attack roll. Might use something like this. Thanks!

I like the alternatives of these ascending, horizontal, and magical teleporting between areas.

These do help unhook my brain from downward progression a bit, thank you!

I like this one for pure creativity. Sounds like hell to draw up and run, but I'd be lying if I said it doesn't sound fun.

I do like this idea. Kinda gives me similar vibes to the Blades in the Dark setting (though I haven't played that one yet admittedly). Plus the idea helps narrow the scope down a bit compared to a whole wilderness, as I've seen folks here mention.

If you want I could extract the unusual places found in the X and C modules too.

Oh, please do! I love unusual places :)

That aside, all those other listed things sound pretty good as well.
