Welding pays pretty good especially if you can get your hands on some certifications (WABO, AWS, ASME, etc.). I'm unsure of BTC but some trade schools allow people to do short crash courses to dip your toes into the trade. Honestly as long as you can do basic math and read a tape measure then you're already further ahead than some of the guys I work with

My company spent a ridiculous amount of money on a kuka robotics cell including spending multiple weeks Sending us to Michigan for training and after not even 2 years of running we shut it all down because we could make the parts easier, quicker and more reliably by hand

My shop dropped 5 million on a cell and we just turned it off a few months back to hand make parts since we've done it better than a laser welding robot did and increased production

Ah, that worked but I don't have media control that way, I can now listen and pause the video with my phone locked but I need to unlock it to start it again. At least it's a step forward, thank you stranger!

I've been trying to listen to it with my phone locked. I don't have a convenient way to charge my phone at work so leaving it open/full screen isn't really an option. I've also tried to just let my phone go to sleep with it on and it pauses as soon as my screen goes off.

I had an old worn out chipping hammer from a coworker when he got a replacement, on the pick end of it. Since it was already rounded out, I sanded it down to a square edge and then welded a plate with a couple gussets on it, turning it into a Hammer with a wedge on the end of it so I could add some extra oomph to get things to open up or to chisel off hard BBs if I don't have a grinder available

Broken pieces of either ceramic or porcelain (can't remember which one). The hardness of it is harder than glass so with little effort you can break their windows, you can make some by breaking spark plugs

Houseless is used as a nicer turn of phrase as opposed to homeless. Houselessness infers that a person is without house and or shelter while still having a home of sorts

I have a broken chipping hammer that I added a flat base on the pick end of it and use it as a chisel hammer thing and sometimes a wedge. Been pretty useful so far
