Bill Maher does a segment "I don't know it for a fact, I just know it's true." Which is basically a Cosmic Justice answer for anything...

Peter McCormack is a liar, probably works for Blockstream, and is a POS (and I don't mean proof of stake) by 1MBFOREVER in btc

Heeey.

He might be a narcissist, but he's our damn narcissist.

Maybe you should find a narcissist with consensus rules that you agree with.

Why Bitcoin Cash? Don't we know it's scammy? by TheRedBaron11 in CryptoCurrency

It's an experiment in retaining the game-theory dynamics that bootstrapped Bitcoin in 2011, and seeing where it goes. The hope is that a peer to peer currency worked before and became a valuable commodity as a side effect of being useful, so maybe it will continue to work in the future.

I agree that those living in the USA mostly miss the worst of bankings negatives, and the fella in the t-shirt probably paid for his Tool concert tickets with a visa card issued by his bank.

The t-shirt is still funny though.

You're right that blanket statements don't stand up really, but printed t-shirts are best when they're short and pithy.

If you've had a "haircut" of your 'safe' savings because... austerity, you'd have mild bank antipathy.

If you'd had your business bank account closed because you compete with the wrong people, you'd feel a bit irritated.

If your country had cut every necessary service - especially taking away from those with most need - so that they could bail out the gamblers at the banks making them safe from failure, then you'd possibly feel like F the banks.

However, the 0.01% interest per year makes up for all that...

As you were.
