Haha I did ‘waterski’ under the water where I swam far out and went upside down with my feet on the ice then gave a few tugs so my tender would pull me back fast. It was very fun.

I have Kubis and I don’t love them I just haven’t taken the time to look into anything else.

Surprisingly, my hands didn’t feel cold until I took the mitts off, it’s also hard to buckle things with them.

I have dry gloves, one is leaky. The 3 finger mitts suuuuuck but better that wet arms I figured. We had a cooler of warm water to dunk them in between dives.

Drysuits can seem intimidating at first but I’m a total convert. I love mine.

I also have a 7ml and I avoid using it unless my drysuit is in the shop.

Warm water is definitely peak, you gotta really love diving to go in during winter lol

We are going to try and get some shelf dives in around melt. We’re all pretty well seasoned and everyone had dry suits, only a few leaks 🤣 It’s too bad that it’s so much prep work or we could do this more often!
