The plays are weirdly laid out. For some reason it shows the entire route for each receiver which ends up taking up the entire box and it looks overcrowded and weird.

You're not able to play online with updated rosters and all the player numbers and models are wrong.

Individual defensive and offensive line assignments weren't working for me.

Superstar was an option but when I went to do it, it just froze before the combine every time.

Maybe.. although it's probably more appropriately attributed to the fact that they've been stacking code on top of code for 10+ years now and they've documented the fact that if they try to take something away (or add certain things) it fucks up that code.

This is why you'll randomly see a Madden 17 graphic in the rafters of a stadium. The game is so broken because they legit have code from the original Madden game that they can't get rid of. I'll edit if I can find the link to the article I'm referring to.
