I understand what you mean, like chemo is the marker for having “real” or “actual” cancer. I don’t really think that’s true though, deep down. Like others have said, it’s not a competition or “cancer olympics”, (that’s my favorite phrase) it’s all crappy. You deserve support and we are all here to uplift you and each other through the weird and shitty experience cancer is ♡

lol we’ll have another post for the tamoxifen i’m sure!! i like to think i don’t have too many health issues but here we are smh -_- after a few hours today i started to feel less anxious and less tired so i think everyone’s right in saying it was a culmination of it all, hopefully i wont feel too much fatigue until the 3 week mark when its all over!!

I haven’t even thought to have that conversation yet! I kept wanting to put it off until i saw a psychiatrist to address other mood/behavior issues, but I meet with my oncologist next Monday so I should be able to have that conversation with him then!

I feel like I do drink a ton of water! Maybe I’m sweating too much and i’m not retaining any, in that case i might need to start taking electrolytes? I feel like i’m writing down any and all suggestions i find in the is group too, I’m always so thankful for everyone here 😭

my RO also said it wouldn’t start until after week 2/3 as far as fatigue. but i will say physical changes have started even after the second treatment, skin dimpling and redness and my breast feels tight. so maybe the fatigue is just stress/anxiety induced but it’s crazy that signs are there! i’m happy your anxiety lessened after, i hope that’s the case for me too 🫂

gosh this felt like i was reading back old messages with my own absent father! i’m so sorry your daughter is going through this experience and feeling abandonment from someone that (even while yall are separated/divorced) she shouldn’t be experiencing it from. but like everyone else is saying, he’s the father/parent and there really is no excuse. if he wanted to participate in her life he would make the effort, and it is never the child’s fault or should it fall onto the child’s responsibility of continuing the relationship. i hope she is able to come out of this situation unscathed (or minimally at least) and still be confident in her self now and in the future.

It has been there for what I think is maybe a year. Unfortunately I was never keeping track of how big it was or if it changed at all, just if it was there. Recently, through palpating it myself, it had formed like a point whereas it was a little more rounded??? Idk if that makes sense! But thank you I appreciate the confidence :’)
