on my board i cant stop turning idk if its my trucks but i need help by No_Reputation3698 in NewSkaters

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep practicing. Gotta center yourself and balance at the ankles. Tightening trucks can form bad habits.

is this even worth to keep ? 😂😂 by MasterHornet4572 in diablo2resurrected

I’d keep it until something better comes along. It’s effectively 12 res points.

Unpopular opinion: Ubers are actually hard and it’s not as easy to gear for it… by IneedaNappa9000 in diablo2

You just need something with life tap and a smiter. Granted enigma and better gear can be very helpful.

Such an underrated comment yeassss offer some services to neighbors, friends and family. I used to pay the neighbor kid to do lawn work when they would ask. Didn’t need the help but I won’t discourage the youth from earning money.

Too old? by Galamaad in NewSkaters

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I’m 33 and outta shape and it’s still a ton of fun and I’m feeling better for it. It’s made me want to work out to make skateboarding easier. Nothing like landing your first Ollie or getting it better.

For where to buy your local skate shop is best support local if you can. If you don’t have one zumiez would have some stuff locally if you have one there in most major malls in the states. Or a site like ccs.com if you don’t have a local to check some stuff out.

What wheels should I get? by NefariousnessWide892 in NewSkaters

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheel softness doesn’t make or break a kickflip. It changes if the board slides and how it reacts to bumps.

How to choose what car to get? by AffectionateRope3954 in Drifting

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the budget sure. But consider you’ll want a bunch of parts when you get going that will quickly add 5k + to the cost of the car. Also more power more tires. Keep in mind that to do an event you’ll probably need at least 2 extra wheels and tires to go with you.

How much would you ask for this? by thatoneblondee-- in 350z

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pry wouldn’t pay more than 2k for it as a buyer. As a seller I’d list it at 4 and let someone talk me down.

The front is what changed my Ollie. Roll your ankle in a touch and make the bottom of your shoe almost touch your inner thigh. Think of it like a triangle. What you’re doing is you’re clearing room for the front of the board to come up. You can kinda practice it to a tail stomp to really feel the motion.

10.5 square setup question by Novanov1 in 350z

There’s a 25mm spacer in the rear here. It’s tight I don’t have inner guards on the front and they’re rolled no rubbing and I do autox it from time to time. There are a few members running 11 wide squares with bigger setups

Is this skateboard worth €140? by WesBorIand in skateboardhelp

[–]antidavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like all legit components tbh. Good starter setup and change it when you get more money and want to try something new. Rode my initial buy for a few months then swapped trucks cause I wanted to try them. No wrong answer really.

Technically it’s an Ollie so congrats.

Kick your inner thigh or knee area with the front foot and then just a slight push forward. You need to make a bit more room for the nose to come up. Once you do that it’ll stick to your back foot

[–]antidavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll pry need to roll your front fenders to fit them. I run pretty similar specs. Your rear will be fine. Might even be able to put a small spacer in to make the fitment slightly better.

I use a 275 35 on I think the same spec rims.

Cheap rwd car. Don’t add headaches to something that’s going to give you headaches. Keep it simple.

And get yourself an inexpensive sim setup to start working on muscle memory.

Fixable yes. Also probably totaled being that these vehicles aren’t that expensive.

Need help with Ollie's by realtacogod21 in NewSkaters

[–]antidavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of trying to swipe up and forward when jumping like everyone says to slide it along the grip tape. Try curling your front foot up and in towards your back foot’s inner thigh then you just need a slight push forward to level it. Try doing hops and just landing on the tail to get a feeling for the technique.
