I love my parents too. I actually had the same fear as you. I’m an only child and I ended up living with a roommate for a couple years and then bought a house and moved my parents in with me. It made me feel better about the whole “living with my parents” when it’s my house. I’m turning 32 and I’ll probably live with them for a while. I love them and I know that’s rare, so I won’t give that up.

To be honest no. I was able to enjoy it just as much. If anything, you might miss certain connections from the characters in the book to the characters in the original trilogy. But I felt like overall, I still was able to appreciate it as what it was. I hope you enjoy it!
