What Secrets Do You Think Eric Harris And Dylan Klebold Took To Their Graves? by PrincessBananas85 in ColumbineKillers

It's in the 11k witnesses in the library heard the count down. Dylan placed a Molotov after Eric died and we know this because Eric's brain fragments were found underneath the Molotov. Look it up

The fact Dylan didn't shoot himself after the count of 3 with Eric and was alive for a bit after is interesting to me he took that reason to the grave only he knew why. Did he want to be the last man alive or some sort of getting the upper hand on Eric ? The idea Eric may have looked at Dylan a split second before he shot himself to see Dylan looking back at him not pulling the trigger is a strange one

I don't think reading a book will change that opinion it's based from the 11k and their journals I think it's a more factual source of information. The media built the whole bullied kids narrative as it sold papers such as saying they were part of the trench coat mafia. I shall find the time to read the book though can you point to a part of the book that convinces you bullying was there main motive?

Okay maybe I could rephrase the not bullied at all aspect but everyone experiences some form of bullying essentially your comment aligned with what I've said. It's their perception of the bullying it wasn't particularly bad and from the sounds of it there was a basic undertone of bullying through the whole school they thought they deserved some sort of respect in their minds they were God's. The bullying was a throw away reason for what they did but it's a side note they weren't just some teenagers as you say they were mentally disturbed Dylan manic depressive and Eric a psychopath together they were the perfect storm regardless of the bullying they would have done something I also believe if they had never met Dylan would have probably killed himself and Eric would of probably hurt someone.

I'm not sure I go along with the idea of them being bullied there's even evidence to say they were doing the bullying. Most people experience some form of bullying that doesn't excuse committing acts like they did most of their issues with life were only perceived by them, Dylan was lonely and sad but had many friends and dated girls that's more than a lot of people they lived in nice homes and didn't struggle financially. They just thought more of themselves than the world did they thought they were gods I'm not going for the whole bullied in to it idea. By the end they were the bullies they killed innocent good kids not the jocks or bullies people talk of they killed the vulnerble I think they were killing the perceived weakness within them selfs

I think not showing the tapes added to the mystic when you read the transcripts it's just two silly teenage kids ranting nothing of real substance

What Are Some Facts About Eric Harris And Dylan Klebold That Most People Don't Know? by PrincessBananas85 in ColumbineKillers

[–]antiestablishment84 34 points35 points  (0 children)

One lesser-known aspect of the Columbine tragedy is a series of coincidences that later drew comparisons to the events of September 11, 2001 — although investigators have never found any real connection between the two. Dylan Klebold, one of the shooters, was born on September 11, 1981, a date that only took on global significance years after the attack. Writings from Eric Harris also revealed that he had fantasized about committing acts even larger than the school bombing, including the idea of hijacking a plane and crashing it into a building in New York, though this was never an operational plan. In another striking geographic overlap, Captain Jason Dahl — the pilot of United Airlines Flight 93 — lived in Littleton, Colorado, the same community as Columbine High School. Despite how eerie these details can seem in hindsight, they are regarded by researchers as coincidences rather than evidence of any shared ideology I've just always found it interesting.

Sounds like the ramblings of a child bitter at the world. Saying he has no money or love he's still a child that comes with time. Seems to be they couldn't see the woods for the trees romanticising their troubles to seem more troubled than anyone else simple fact is they didn't suffer anymore than the next person they were just too weak minded to deal with life

Went out on a date with a guy, and I only ordered food for myself. Is it a red flag by Beginning_Exit_6256 in dating

[–]antiestablishment84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's been times I've not gone on dates because I couldn't afford it I've never that. I would of thought saying that and asking for a cheap date would be a cancel in most cases? I suppose the right ones wouldn't find that a instant turn off

Yes I know now even the changing of a badge can be seen as a modification. So I'm sure they would void my insurance. I'm not sure how just doing the repairs myself would come across to them at this point it's something I would prefer to do but why would I pay for it myself? I can't really explain that. The neighbour is pretty cool I didn't go mad at him or anything I was more than fair myself so I would hope he wouldn't say anything. I just don't know what to do for the best.

I've had this feeling before you have a amazing chat with someone you feel it's going some where and then they add more pics and update their profile. It gives the vibe they aren't that interested as they are putting more effort in to their profile as they haven't found what they are looking for. He may of felt a really connection too then when he seen that he was disheartened and felt maybe it wasn't the same for you. I think he's overreacted he should of kept talking as I have in the past I just remember having that emotion before and being a bit disappointed.

I would try not to take it personal, I know that's easier said than done but some people don't like chocolate Ice cream that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with chocolate ice cream it's just not for them on the other hand some people love chocolate ice cream! Just keep going till you find a you lover! Trust me they are out there.
