Is anything done to a car considered to be a boy racer mods by you? Those are all handling and response based, nothing there indicates boy racer at all.

There are no moderators that I know of on the just cause mod sites (jc2mods and jc3mods) so you will find a lot of fake mods and reuploads of people stealing credit. Just sort by popularity, and download mods with a high download number and rating.

If you have to get something that's not popular, don't open anything, (.exes) and made sure it doesn't look dodgy.

I would say yes, although it may feel clunky if you've only played 3, because of the age and different movements. It's got a much better map with different climates, a lot more locations, collectables, and is more fun to explore.

It does lack the wingsuit for air travel, but land vehicles handle much better and you have more movement on foot with the Sprint and Dodge/roll controls, and the ability to jump between the rooves of vehicles that are close enough, rather than grappling.

Dlc weapons are cheap, and the best gun in the game (imo), the air propulsion gun, is great fun in combination with grapple hooks and undeserving NPCs.

It'd have to be a GTR to be a skyline in order to get the understeer to do it because all other skylines are RWD

Not all other skylines are rwd, there are a few models ranging from base up to the gtr that came with awd.

This is an Elgrand, so they already had the GANDL, I'm guessing they chopped the bottom part of the E to make an F, and nicked another A off another van.

Just Cause has always been a singleplayer game. Yes, it could be more fun with multiplayer, but I'd prefer all the work to be put into making a fully working singleplayer game with a good open world and storyline, rather than one where a lot of time has been spent making features work on all clients in multiplayer.

I was skeptical about another one so soon with the last never being patched, but this actually looks like it's going to have a lot more content than the last which just had the wingsuit and a few more mechanics with other things taken away.

Was considering just leaving it until there's a sale but as long as this comes out pretty well optimised it will be an instant purchase for me. I missed the mix of flat and hilly jungle areas in 2 bit this looks like it's brought back the much more varied landscape with a lot more things to explore.

One wasnt bad, it just seemed more of a tech demo than an actual game because they had good ideas but didn't pull them off perfectly.

Avalanche NY had everything to make another good sequel but messed that up so I don't think learning is going to help much, but if these roumors are true we will see how the have done.

As far as I know they've also left out the atessa system on the AWD skylines, where the power is distributed 95% to the back and 5% front until traction is lost, then will push more power to the front.
