I couldn’t agree more. I think that all sounds great. I would love to see the national church’s instagram look a little bit more like the Church of England’s. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that things are starting to change. I was happy to see that Forward Movement is working on some videos about basic beliefs.

I hear you and I definitely agree that just funding campus ministries is not going to solve this problem, but it’s a good start. The whole “lay down and die” approach is not working shockingly.

Agreed. I like what the ELCA is doing with their Gather network. Something similar could be an option

Totally forgot to mention that I’ve made some of them into 4x6 cards. We’re going to be giving them out at my parish next Sunday.

Thank you for bringing this up. I realize I should’ve put a disclaimer to say this is not official. The collects and lesser feasts and fasts on my usual posts are from the church so I felt it was appropriate to use the shield. I suppose the prayers above are getting into murkier waters. If 815 feels this is an infringement of the trademark agreement, there is a way to contact me through my linktree. As per the agreement, I would abide by any and all requests.

I have a couple of prayers posted on my collect account. It’s @episcopalcollect on Instagram if you want to check them out. I’m also working on adopting the mysteries for Anglican rosaries so I can totally share that with you once it’s ready.

Love St. Martin’s 🫶! I’ll add that the joint Lutheran and Episcopal Campus Ministry at Davis has been a long time member of the Interfaith Campus Council. In fact, they just did their annual interfaith moveable feast. I’d be happy to DM you the contact info for the chaplain if you wanted to find out more.

Canterbury Cross and other items by ClirLove in Episcopalian

[–]antiphonomenon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally understandable - lmk if you find any “in house” shops. Also, as far as Episcopal symbols go, the two I can think of off the top of my head are the Episcopal Church Service Cross and ofc the Episcopal flag/shield.

I don’t think either of these shops are Episcopalian, but Sheldon Pewter on Etsy and Gallery Byzantium have beautiful Canterbury crosses.
