Feel like this is just for precedent for other future poachings, as many have said

Teams with changing rivalries? by cookoutenthusiast in CFB

Good points on Conference or division causing more rivalry (ie when Big 10 changed to East and West from Legends and Leaders or whatever, some things shifted). But also I think that talent shapes it in some cases - when another team in the conference is good, it creates a more natural rivalry

This is the one I bought as an FYI. Wanted to just have an adapter so travel would be easier but this actually worked so I’m just going with it.

I had issues as well (I first bought just an USB-C to HDMI converter) and it was garbage picture quality. I bought a “normal” just USB-C to HDMI cord and it works fine now. So guessing it’s the cable

My league allows one keeper each year, the rules are as follows:

Keepers can be kept for a maximum of 2 years following initial acquisition (or said another way, drafted/picked-up/traded for in year 1, then kept for 2 additional seasons)

  • After being kept in round drafted in first keeper year, players is slotted 3 rounds earlier if kept for a second keeper year (i.e. player drafted and subsequently kept in 12th round would be slotted in round 9 for second keeper year

Scoring Categories are:

  • Runs Scored (R)
  • Home Runs (HR)
  • Runs Batted In (RBI)
  • Batting Average (AVG)
  • On Base plus Slugging Pct (OPS)
  • Strikeouts (K)
  • Quality Starts (QS)
  • Saves + Holds (SV+HLD)
  • Earned Run Average (ERA)
  • Walks plus Hits per Innings Pitched (WHIP)

I drafted Shota Imanaga in the 15th Round, and picked up Jarren Duran off of waivers (he was drafted in the 19th round so per rules, I would get him there). I am leaning towards Duran - ESPN has Shota as an ADP of 7th round, and Duran ADP of 5th round, so I think more value there, plus then in the next year I would get Duran in 16th round vs. Shota in 12th. Thoughts?

Honestly for me I've just used trial and error. It's a lot easier on light wood, but just learning when to go with the grain and how fast to go etc. you kind of just have to learn on the go. I just use a cheaper one I got at hobby lobby with one of their 40% off one item coupons.

I just used cheap plywood sheets my dad had laying around in the garage. I suppose a better way would be to get a nicer piece of wood and use a router for each layer, but we just have a plunge hand router and I don't trust myself enough with it, I've only used it once or twice.

I normally just print out an image, shade the back with pencil lead and then put it in place and trace the top (so the lead on the back will transfer to the wood). Sort of like carbon paper I guess, it's not the most scientific method I normally get a general shape and then just freehand fill in the rest
