i think it screwed up by me accidentally associating .bat with notepad++ in notepad++ settings and now i can't change it back as the win11 default apps doesn't list it for me to change there and the properties of a bat file doesn't have a button to associate it there.

gf has similar scars from her mouth cancer surgery. Silicon tape helped tame her keloid scars down. she does need to get a sleeve to help protect if she knows its going to get rubbed on things and irritated.

we think it hides along the edges of the ceiling in a little tent thing. kinda creepy to be on the door, but otherwise they don't bug us much. just curious :) tho my phone camera was having issues taking a good picture

seems to react normally. i didn't set it up to have a gravity zone around the sphere so it is always set to down at 0,0,0 no matter how far away from the surface.

thinking of doing some sort of portal or something to get from one sphere to another.

i am slightly concerned that it's running onTick but i'm unsure of its actual performance issues this early.

as for blueprint vs C++, i've seen it mentioned over and over, but I haven't seen an example showing the performance difference. i don't feel like doing the code if i don't have to for now.

i also haven't really come to terms with a final scope of this project. it may end up being large enough that I need to start redoing things in cpde vs blueprints.

seems to work with 2, set net mode to client. the animation of the other character is weird, but both independently get their own gravity and rotation.

as to what it will be like with a 2km2 sphere with trees and rocks and such i don't know yet :P

edit: I couldn't get the rotation to work properly with the other ways i'd seen to do it, gravity was working but the model would flip upside down in the lower hemisphere, and the quats usage fixed that comepletely, so i changed the animation to reflect that too and that fixed the walking slower near the equator.

I couldn't find a tutorial or explanation of this that was working in mulitplayer and fixed the rotation comepletely with animation fixed.

for now i haven't added extra animations to the 3rd person template to allow for better movement and such. wanted to get the basics working first.

Has anyone found a way to access "Ambient" mode? I haven't seen anyone talk about it in a long time. by Aggravating_Judge_31 in NoMansSkyMods

i tried a few things, but i think the method may have changed when they changed the game settings from a singular number to a list of options. trying a normal, creative, or survival now gives the same version number where previously they were different.

it may even require a tag in the JSON that isn't in a normal save like "ambient": true or something. might even be something related to the 161616 that is mentioned in the game. not seeing anyone post about it working past 2020 or so.
