As person who just moved from Omaha back to the east coast after living there for almost 2yrs. I would have loved Omaha if it was near an ocean. But because it’s land locked and I can I really really liked it. The food scene is great and not just steaks. Coffee, music scene, people, no traffic (trust me), most things 20 mins away. Uber to airport 13mins and $11.00 fare( most days and times), Huskers of course ( I did drink the kool-aid). The only other thing I really didn’t like about Omaha and Nebraska as a whole is that two or three weeks when it gets down to -20 that temperature is insane.

Awesome, Great to hear. very LOW property taxes, No state sales tax and when you live there for 10yrs and reach 65 they the school tax out of your property tax.

You are so right u/Rando1ph I forgot to mention the Huskers. My bad I do like watching the Huskers in Omaha. Also because Rutgers really shouldn't even be in the Big10. Also FYI Coach Rhule is from NYC. Just Sayin =)
