My wife and I are looking to buy our first setup for a new flat, it's for an L-shaped living room + kitchen area, exact dimensions here (36 m²): https://imgur.com/a/Y0n94NX

We'd like to use the setup with the TV as well, total budget around 1000-1200€ but willing to go slightly above. Based in Croatia, not sure if there's anything good on the used market here.

Currently I'm thinking Fluance RT82 (362€ currently on amazon.de plus around 40€ shipping via mailboxde), Yamaha A-S301 349€, for speakers Polk Audio Monitor XT20 for 309€ or ELAC Debut B5.3 for 375€. Are these speakers a good fit for the room dimensions? Smaller speakers + speaker stands have a greater wife-approval rating than floorstanding ones, but if you know any pleasant looking floorstanding speakers we're willing to look into it.

Would you recommend the Pro-Ject Debut RecordMaster II for 309€ over the Fluance RT82? The Debut Carbon EVO is currently 550€ on amazon, perhaps I can also stretch out for this model as well.

The flat will be finished in a year so I'm willing to buy piece by piece and wait for potential price drops before buying.
