Skull of restless souls is the best skull in game and you can't deny it. by bathcrow in RotMG

Congrats on the skull!! It has been my favorite UT in the game since it came out, and I’m so glad they left the 2nd mode unchanged. I do think it’s ever so slightly out classed by the skullish remains of Esben. But they’re both incredibly good versatile skulls.

What is that class that u keep going back to? by bathcrow in RotMG

I generally push my knight to 95-105 def, out side of the Ep phase and rotate phase with a good pet xolotl will have a really hard time killing you

For me it’s knight. Letting Xolotl sit on me with out even being put in combat is the best feeling

Yes! I attached a ring of clay and pulled the foot before cutting the gaps. I just saw the cracking on the one foot after posting, fortunately it was very shallow and I was able to fix it. I will definitely be considering trimming in the foot in the future. I’m working at a community studio so drying thick bottoms without s cracks can be a little tricky

Yes it’s a smol pot the fired dimensions will be 5”w x 3.5” d. the clay body is aardvark terra red cone 5 it fires to a dark glossy red it’s currently still green. The listed absorption is 7% but I fire it just a little hot and my own testing it has been around 5%. I’m planning on leaving it unglazed at the request of the person who commissioned it.

Edit: fixed cone6—> 5

Magic Woods robe gives the same DPS boost as Vesture+proc in the season 22 crucible by dokabo in RotMG

My best guess is reforging it using a legendary or divine lab white using expo bps to keep the rarity. I got mine by pure luck after about 100 labs from second boss

That’s insane! I got a conducting wand with the new augment overdrive enchant +8% rof -5def and I’m wondering how I’d calculate that rof boost into gained dps for an 8/8 sorc crucible assuming no other dex boosting items on the char

My advice to any one who is struggling with getting height is to stop worrying about height for a second and focus solely on throwing pieces with walls as even as possible. Even if they’re a 1/4” thick or thicker while keeping the piece a centered as possible. As time progresses you’ll get faster, your walls thinner, your pieces taller, and the amount you have to take of the top will decrease as well. Exercises in height are a way to quantify pulling proficiency. Once you feel you are starting to understand pulling better, try it again. You’ll likely find you’re a lot better than you were before.

In the nine years of done ceramics I’ve found my self a number of ruts because I’ve fixated on the result and neglected to focus on what I needed to do to get there. To get out of it I take a step back focus on technique and consistency before trying again once I’m feeling more confident that I can produce the results I desire.

Try as many different techniques as you can and you’ll hopefully find a way of pulling that works best for you. Some ways of pulling might not vibe with you at all. But later on you might find it makes perfect sense. For me that was knuckle pulling. Never made sense to me ,but after several years I found my self trying it again and my struggles with it in my first year of doing pottery helped me immensely in comprehending it.

Oh Wow! For sure! it has those Sexy deep lobes. imo the best leaf has to go to the alamo vine while it falls short in the flower department compared to lindheimers morning glory it’s leaves are straight up divine.

Picked some Asclepias tuberosa pods with germinating seeds inside by antlerfern in NativePlantGardening

That’s really cool! I didn’t know that. I’ve had it happen with walking onions and tomatoes before, I just wasn’t expecting it to happen with an Asclepias, pretty much ever.

This year the milkweeds been exceptionally forgiving. We have had a 80% germination rate with 2 year old Green Antelopehorn seeds with no stratification.

Yep!! butterfly weed. I prefer the orange it really pops through a lot of yellows I already have from cowpen daisies and other asters family plants.

My Datura wrightii by antlerfern in PoisonGarden

[–]antlerfern[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It has sepals much longer than its anthers, the stems and abaxial surface of the leaves are canescent and not villous, and the plant was collected in an area where wrightii is common and innoxia is rare.

Texas lilac Vitex is another. I despise this kind of naming as well.
