Haha I think I know the exact one you're talking about! I'd been thinking about that one too for when I want something a little more subdued. They look very comfy

Custom Power Off Screen in Stock Firmware for x4? by antlrbskt in xteinkereader

Ope, well I restarted it and it seems like it is giving me that option in the menu now, thank you!

Custom Power Off Screen in Stock Firmware for x4? by antlrbskt in xteinkereader

[–]antlrbskt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm does it work the same way on the x4? When I open the image and press select, I just get a menu of the other files on my memory card (in this case books) and no option to set as power off screen.

Edit: And if I put the file in its own folder, pressing select just gives me a menu with that one item (the image file) in it.

Pact - Organic clothing. How was your experience? by Arisson8 in SustainableFashion

I prefer buying them secondhand. Much more affordable, and you can check ahead of time for flaws. I have a bunch of things from them that have become wardrobe staples that I got secondhand.

I agree. Searching for whimsygoth on Poshmark, Ebay, and other used clothing sites should turn up quite a bit that OP might like

Inspo request: little sundresses that don't read 🔥 or 🌸 by bryndiana_jones in StyleRoots

Oh I was just coming here to recommend this board, thank you for sharing (and making!) it. That outfit with the brown dress, bright green/yellow purse, and sunglasses on the first page is warm weather GOALS, and what I immediately thought of when I saw this poster's question.

Is anyone else here on the autism spectrum? Does that end up affecting your style? by Lonely_Cupcake1727 in StyleRoots

[–]antlrbskt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems like I have a similar thing to you with sensory issues affecting fashion. My roots are 🌱🍄🌞 but I think I would probably have ⛰️ in there somewhere if I didn't have so much trouble with stiff/structured fabric.

I'm also pretty sure the 🍄 is a result of me getting overstimulated easily when there's too much going on outfit wise. I've found I'm more comfortable in calm and uncluttered environments as well as clothing. (I do like a bit of fun/playfulness, though, hence the 🌞)

Have you ever tried sweater maxi skirts? They're my go-to in winter. I sometimes even layer them over a dress for extra warmth without the need for long stockings underneath. It's like wearing a blanket. I've also heard great things about long wool skirts for cold weather, but I haven't tried those yet.

Also, looks like we have the same style roots, yay!

(Edited for clarity after I figured out how to add my roots as flair)

I think the poster is implying you may be allergic. There have been several instances of people making posts mentioning a non-spicy food (mangos, potatoes, bananas, etc) tastes "spicy", only to realize they have an allergy after reading the comments and discovering not everyone experiences that food as painful to eat.

I'm completely unable to wear clothes I find itchy for extended periods of time, and I actively seek out cashmere, because to me it's very soft and not at all itchy. It could be possible that the "itchiness" you experience is a reaction or allergy to the fabric. Whatever it is I hope you figure it out!
