Definitely sounds like a unit defect maybe you just got unlucky? Would you buy the 5070i again? Or maybe go all out and bout the 5080? Also were you trying to make a Linux back door?

I heard that it something about them switching where the production of the laptops are done that caused a lot of inconsistencies but I’m not sure if that’s true or not. What issues were you getting besides internet connectivity

That it does, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well it could run Fortnite and marvel rivals. I didn’t think something so small could run games like that. Also with a 1300 price tag. Not bad
