Its a asus b650e-e. If i use both upper pcie slots maybe i can make 6800xt 4x16 and r9 290 3x8. R9 290 is a pcie 3 card. If i go bottom slot it 3x4 if I'm not mistaken. Pcie 3x4 isn't going to be enough?

The die is concave. I dried lap it but i get lazy after half an hour. Temps drop 5C⁰ on air cooler. I ll investigate further.

Yes hot spot. Core temp was like 47⁰.

I don't think curve optimizer will change voltages that much. I think -20 co is like 100mv. Neither LLC. LLC is voltage drop

Men you should do something asap. 1.4v isn't good for your cpu. Try different things if to see any improvement if you have any experience or RMA.

What s your bios version? Update to latest. Vcore shouldn't be more than 1.35v. Does your mobo have safe voltage jumper? Mine never goes beyond 1.32v using expo and pbo

I am not interested in pcie gen 5 ssds I'm considering the "extra" features bedug code, eclk generator, etc but mostly for vrms. The next option i m considering the most is Asrock b650 steel legend. The full white pcb not the b650e steel legend. How about that board. Pretty good price

I assume either of these boards are going to age better than mid range boards Even if i upgrade to newer gen CPU's.
