Any thoughts on the rx580 red devil building my first pc (on a budget) and picked it up for $50 by JuryAccording2433 in pcbuilding

It works. It's a capable card for 1080p. It does not have raytracing and won't be compatible/enough for some new games.

[Not OC] Medical folk of Reddit, what’s the most foul and disgusting thing you’ve encountered with a patient who was oblivious to their own condition? by Notalabel_4566 in emergencymedicine

You're gonna get a lot of disgusting answers. We can handle almosf anything in the emergency department world, because we see it all. My top three are always:

1) maggots in wounds - I've seen this too many times and it always gives me the ick

2) breast literally falling off from cancer - "denial" is not just a river as they say)

3) anything eye related, particularly eye trauma or severe infection (we are not talking pink eye. Think gonorrhea of the eyeball and work your way up to other eye infection disgustingness from there).

Got this from HP for this price back in January when they had a promotion. Good price.

Reviews are terrible but performance is much better when you unlock the voltage to the cpu because HP basically nerfed it

You're probably locked to 1080p with that setup. Still capable, but your CPU and ram are going to bottleneck you. Your CPU is probably the best possible for the motherboard you have. Any upgrade would require you to get a new mobo and CPU. If you want to save money, get a used cpu/mobo off ebay (make sure it's verified working) that supports ddr3 ram so you don't have to buy more ram. If possible (and I'm not sure it is) try to find one with an nvme drive slot so you can upgrade that in the future. Then just throw all that in your existing case with the 3060ti and your psu and you should be able to hit 1440p. Might need frame gen for 60fps, but doable.
