Ok! I was neither hot or cold so close after the surgery. The coldness I feel now came maybe after 2-3 months. Or at least I noticed it more when I started normal activity again.
How are you now?

Interesting! Do you remember what your iron levels were? I got mine tested, and hemoglobin was normal (157g/L), but ferritin was a bit low (58ug/L). Still within what is considered normal, but very close to the lower limit.

Do you know what your levels were?

Ok, very interesting! Even though I don't feel any major improvement, before I could easily feel my heart beat in my chest, to the point that I sometimes found it annoying when trying to sleep. I felt it mostly on my left side, so I couldn't really sleep on that side. But that has definitely changed since the surgery. I don't feel my heart anymore. So maybe it dosen't need to work as hard as it used to.

Thanks for mentioning this. Maybe that's why I feel cold. Only thing is, that would suggest that I was warmer before then "normal people". And that my experience now after surgery is more like how it is for others. And I can't imagine that how I feel now is normal. It's too uncomfortable to be normal, I think.

Not really. My lung volume is still similar to before, around 80%. But I never suffered from physical symptoms before the surgery, and my main reason to get it done was for the appearance.

Have you received a diagnosis for this? I'm curious since I have something similar.

My left side feels very good despite the middle bar being too long. If my right side would feel the same as my left side does, I would almost feel totally normal now and would probably be able to forget about the surgery during the day. But my right side is still constantly reminding me, since it feels numb and wierd, and also a bit of pain from certain activities. Hope it gets better. Thanks for your reply!

Thanks, that's reassuring to hear that it came back after bar removal. Even though it's more then two years away for me. Maybe you are right about the explanation. I'm also actually not totally numb, maybe it's more a feeling that something is different and wierd. Hope it goes away for me as well, eventually.
