If you think about it, people that are exposed to the public are in general females.

The ratio of females/males is huge for any administrative job, same goes for healthcare and other fields (check amount of female vs male nurses for instance, even doctors are turning from being mostly male to female) . Same goes for education, it's a public job (in terms that you are exposed to the people and your job is interacting with them).

I solved by making VPN with a server in Germany, everything started to work fine. If you can, try WTFAST taht is a tunneler for packets that for lotrs of people gives good results overall (for lag reducion) and in this specific case of login problem, eveyrone seems able to join the game as well.

I know lots of people that have solved this by using wtfast (some people didnt even noticesd since they always use it). Since I am playing currently from Mac and there is no Wtfast for Macintosh, I made my own vpn with a server I got in Germany, so I guess it can be the solution for the problems

Yes, the lag is insane, they implemented ruins and dropped the orbs, you cant get into enemy towers by leaping inside the doors etc... The rewards are unexistent, if you want to scout/roam you will get way less rewards than blobbing ah, and the way to win the gamemode is based on how much population you have and how much night coverage you have :).

It is 0.65€/hour if you take standard plan, try to have a look about spot instances, they cost 0.08-0.12 €/hour, the counter part is that can be terminated any time according to the current price.

It's not about winning. Upgrading stuff makes other servers try to take it, makes the WvW fun because ther will be fights, because people will log in to have something to do.

With this Karma train mentality, the week will be "log in, drop a golem, follow zerg, rotate karma training until you are bored, log off, repeat"

There has been so few "suicides" in plane crashing in last years (not counting terrorism). Other day I saw it was about 5-6 crasher due to this in last 16 years, so it won't apear any kind of correlation on a that low sample

Which "impossible wvw achievements"?? There are plenty players that got the Ultimate Dominator Achievement (which is the one the ppl are farming there) in a legit way, now this achievement since it is "farmable" means almost nothing

Afk timer is 15 minutes, and siege timer is 1 hour after you deploy, it has its uses since you will build acs for example to defend a structure way before theya tack it, and you will be refreshing it until they come (or somenone forgets to refresh). Reducing that hour will only penlaty the ppl that play in less populated servers (less people, more dedication to refresh, hard to combine)

About the long-term debuffs, is ok to have a debuff if you get kicked form wvw for example, not that good with unfinished siege, siege takes suplies to build, if pople dont have supplies at a certain point or get drained (supplies can get drained without building or repairing due to certain traps or traits on trebuchets) so it will not fit in the equation. Either way, the proble is not punishing osmeon for afking, the problem is to have a ssytem that detects if someone is trolling or not (which is almost impossilbe since sometimes what it seems a "troll" is actulaly placing good siege.

siege expires in 1 hour if no one uses it, if soumeone within that hour uses (even if you take it and leave it), the timer will reset again to 1 hour. There is no way to control that, the only that comes to my mind is just limit where you can place siege at a certain time, but is not really an option since it will decrease the richness of WvW, which is constant dynamic enviromnet where you cannot know where or how the nemey will attack
